54 CHAPTER 54: UNEXPECTED VISITORS

Just a few days after Kim talked with her mother on the phone. She forgot about it.

It was Saturday; Jary did not go to his office. He plans to stay with Kim during weekends. They are planning to take a little walk around the area. It is one of the advices, Dr. Lim Ji requires during Kim's pregnancy.

He was in the living room watching tv while Kim was in the kitchen preparing something to eat. She is always hungry. That is one of the things you do not ignore being a pregnant woman. Jary volunteered to do the cooking but she insists doing it. That's her passion, cooking something for them.

She focused on her health and the baby. She was at the kitchen when the doorbell sounds heard. She was not the one who opened it but the servant. Jary was in the living room watching his favorite sports game.

The servant opened the door and the old people came in directly. The servant was shocked, she stopped them from entering.

"I am sorry, but who are you people." The servant asked with polite.

"Where is our daughter?" The old woman asked.

"I am sorry Madam. I will call my master." The servant quickly rushed to the living room.

"Sir, there were people at the door looking for their daughter." The servant was pointing at the entrance door.

Jary got up to look who were the people she was referring. Just when Kim came out from the kitchen then saw the people at the entrance door.

"Mom, Dad, what are you doing here?" Tung Kim shocked that Jary wondered.

"Mom? Dad?" he looked at Kim then to her parents. "Your parents…?"

Kim stepped forward to the entrance door. "Come on in."

Mr. and Mrs. Tung looked confused. They were thinking, why there is a man in her house.

They were in the coach sitting quietly. They were looking at them, to Kim and to Jary. Then to Kim's stomach.

Mrs. Tung broke the silence. "So, this is why you do not want us to come." She was referring to Jary.

"Tung Kim, what is going on? Mr. Tung asked calmly.

Kim takes a deep breath, "Mom, Dad, this is my husband Wang Jary. I am carrying his baby."

Both her mother and father did not even say a word. They glared at Jary from head to toe. While Jary stood up and shook his hand to Mr. Tung and Mrs. Tung. He even respectfully introduction himself.

They accepted the handshake. They still did not say a word, just remaining silent. Wondering what just happened.

Kim could not take it anymore so she talks instead. "Okay, I know I should have told you guys about me got married without saying anything from you both. I am sorry." She bows her to apologized. " But please, do not make things difficult for me. Mom…? Daddy?"

Kim went closer to her daddy then cling his arms. Mr. Tung could not refuse every time Kim does that to him. His soft spot being a father especially to his only daughter is everything.

"Okay, okay I am not mad both are. We are just surprise to hear it from you. You did not even tell us about it. Why?" Her father's voice obviously hurting.

Mrs. Tung speaks too. "Why... is he not from the upper-class level family? You think that we are against it?" Mrs. Tung looks at Jary who was not butt in with them. He just there silently watching them.

She scanned him from head to toe. He seems not poor from the way he wore his clothes. Actually, his clothed were branded names. Therefore, she thinks that this man is from the family that could afford luxury.

"No, that's not it. I was going to tell you guys after sometimes. I am waiting for the right moment but you came in to visit us unexpectedly." Kim explained to them properly. "I thought when Mom called and told me to visit here. I thought not that early as this. I am so sorry, my bad."

"You, young man. Are your intentions being good for my daughter? If not, even you two are married already. I can still be your enemy for life. You cannot get away with anything." Mr. Tung was threatening Jary.

"Mom, Dad, I can assure you that I will love you daughter as long as I live. I will not do anything that will hurt her." Jary said firmly. "By the way, I can provide anything Kim wants and to our baby too. I am the heir of Wang Construction here in A City. My company is one of the tops listed in the country so no need to worry about your daughter. I can take care of her for lifetime." He smiled at them.

Mr. Tung nodded then smiled. "That is good to know. I am now at peace knowing that she found someone who can be with her until the end."

Kim cried as she hugged her parents. She knew that they are worried that she cannot find her best partner now that she is getting older. After meeting both of them, she was at ease with peace of mind.

"Let's have dinner here. I just finished cooking." Kim stood up first. "Where were you staying? You two can stay at Jary's place."

"We are going to book at the hotel after seeing you." Her mother answered.

"No need, Mom, you can stay my place. It across this unit." Jary offered.

"You have your own place in this floor?" Mrs. Tung asked.

"Yes, mother, Jary own the best and biggest unit in this building." Kim proudly says. "He built this building and the other buildings in this area."

"Oh! Really!" Mrs. Tung exclaimed.

"Yes, Mom. After giving birth we will be living to his unit. It would be better for us and the baby." Kim added.

"Well, that's good. Once you have kids, a lot of it. It would be nice to have a bigger space." Her mother agreed.

They continued talking in the dining table. They want to know more about Jary and Kim's pregnancy too.

Kim felt happy that everything seems fine as meeting her parents and Jary.
