CHAPTER 2: THREE IN A ROW

After the door closed, Lee Moven did not move but his eyes still at the door after Chaya left. He was confused about himself either. Wondering why he was troubled with that woman for the second time around.

He was still standing near the door when he realized that someone was calling him.

"Bro. Mo, what are doing there?" Lee Anna said as Dr. Lim also staring at him.

"Oh! I'm sorry. I was occupied with something." He replied, went near his Cousin Lee Anna's bedside.

Lee Anna is the only closest cousin among the Lee Family because they grew up together like siblings.

Lee Anna's parents died in an accident when she was 10. In addition, Mo's parents took care of her since then like their own daughter. Shelter her with love and care.

Lee Anna rushed to the hospital early this morning because she collapsed.

"So how was her health? Is she ok?" Mo asked Dr. Lim look concerned.

"Well, Mr. Lee your beloved cousin is soon to be a mom." Dr. Lim smiled at him and said while looking at the chart she was holding. "So, I told her not to overdue her strength and take a rest once in a while. I know that she is getting married soon but she needs to relax a bit now that there is an angel inside her tummy that needs to be taking care too." As the doctor reminded her cousin and touching her womb at the same time.

"You're soon to be an uncle." Lee Anna proudly says with the happiness in her face as she looked at him.

"Yeah right! I'm getting old already with that." he sighed.

Hahahaha….

Everyone was laughing.

Yoon Chaya's time in the hospital is almost over. She is currently doing one last box of tissues to place it inside stockroom shelves.

After placed it all and looked around if everything was perfectly fine. She headed to her locker room. Changed her uniform into her clothes she wore this morning.

Going now to her next destination: Her other job….

24Hrs. Convenient Store is located near the bus stop from her house. That's why it's easier for her to work and goes home late. She's still having 30 minutes before her time in to the store. She didn't go inside but sat down in the umbrella table. She ate quietly as she watched people passing by.

When it's time to work, she goes inside and put her uniform vest.

Lee Moven was inside the car when he realized that he forgot his important documents to review tonight in his office.

"Asst. Tan, can you go back to the office and get the documents. I forgot to bring it with me," he told his assistant. "And drop me there in that 24hrs Convenient Store and pick me up later." He said pointing the store.

"Ok boss."

After Asst. Tan Joe dropped Mr. Lee off, he turned around and drive back to the office. Lee Moven went inside the store. He picked up a basket near the door and went straight to the freezer.

Chaya was at the drinking station refilling drinks and put it some inside the freezer. Didn't notice someone walked to the opposite side. Then a loud sound heard.

CRAAASSHH!!!

Some cans of beer, juice and fresh milk scattered on the floor. Chaya picked it up one by one when suddenly they both holding the same can and looked up.

Both of them didn't move for 5 seconds when their eyes met. Chaya was stunned to the man in front of her for the first time. She doesn't know why her heartbeat sounds like a drum.

Dub…dub. Dub… What is wrong with her? What is wrong with her heart as she was looking at this man that she can't explain.

'What a beautiful creature in front of me. Why it is his face looks familiar?'

Lee Moven was also felt the same. Within the day, they always bumped into each other.

Three in a row…Is this coincidence or fate? What is wrong with him? Why is it every time he saw this woman, he could not feel at ease especially his heart? She really does look familiar. He does not know where she met her before.

The door suddenly opened when more customers came in. They went back to their senses.

"Sorry, sorry, sorry" Chaya apologized and bow.

"It's alright! Are you ok?"

His voice was so manly. Chaya thought about it then realized what was she's thinking? "Yes sir, I'm alright and sorry again I didn't notice you."

"Oh, nothing harmed done" and he smiled.

Chaya smiled back then make her way back to the counter.

Lee Mo went on to the freeze and get cans of beer and juices, putting it inside the basket. He walked towards the cashier and noticed that the cashier was facing back doing something. Lee Mo slowly put down the basket in the counter.

Chaya turned around and greeted the customer with a smile. "Good evening sir". She scanned the barcode of each item inside the basket, total them all.

Lee Moven gets his wallet and pays the cashier. He still looks at her face and saw the nameplate of the woman.

Yoon Chaya. CHAYA

Chaya hands were so cold. She does not know why she felt like this in front of this man. She can sense that he was staring at her the whole time while scanning his items. No matter how handsome he is. It does not make any sense.

'Why am I affecting this much? He was not the only beautiful creature on earth.' Chaya was talking to her thoughts while concentrating to her work.

After the transactions made, Lee Moven went out the store and looked back at the counter. Both of them looked at each other at the same time. Chaya was blushing the moment their eyes met.

That was weird! She thought while she continued doing her job.
