2 Nuclear Fallout (Chapter 2)

Suddenly a loud bang came from the Livingroom followed by Codsworth yelling for us to see what's on Tv, once we reached the Livingroom Codsworth was floating in front of the couch watching the Tv.

Nate and I both cautiously approach the Tv "Followed by signs of nuclear detection..... oh god" the Tv cut out once he finished the sentence, I stood there frozen in fear. Did he say Nuclear fallout?.... suddenly Nate shakes me out of my Trance by telling me to head to the vault.

He grabs Shaun from him crib and we head down the road, there are so many people outside freaking out. Some even have suit cases, what are they gonna do? escape the nuclear fallout? We're all doomed to fucking die.

We get to the gate There are so many people by the gate insisting to get in, the rest are on the ground sobbing. Honestly I feel bad for them but hell what can I do? Were all gonna die in the matter of minutes.

The gate is guarded by two big men in full metal suits with humongous guns.

They step apart to let Nate,Shaun,and I in thank god. We walk past them and the seccond guard is less dressed as the others, he points us in the direction to this large platform where many people stand already.

As we step on the platform the bombs drop. Everything starts rumbling beneath our feet, suddenly the platform drops just in time.

Once the platform hits the ground the door opens to reveal stairs, there are 3 people at the top with a guy in a white science coat. After what feels lile forever the guy in a white science coat speaks

"Welcome to your new home!" He speaks loud enough for everyone to hear

After a moment of silence he continues to speak "We hope you'll find this place up to your standards, if you don't you'll be here for a while" he jokes awkwardly.

Everyone in the elevator slowly leaves I turn around to check on my husband and child.

Nate is comforting Shaun, I walk up to them. "Hey how's our little guy?" I ask, Nate smiles and pokes Shaun's little cheek "he's doing okay, the explosion spooked him a little" he smiles.

We walk into our new home for one it's very bright and clean. We walk to the ladies handing out vault uniforms and take one, going into the changing booth I charge into my new uniform. After putting it on there's a doctor escorting us to "cleaning pods" what the fuck are cleaning pods?

I reach my cleaning pod which is thankfully across from Nate and Shaun's.

I climb in and the door slowly shuts, Nate smiles warmly at me and waves. Suddenly everything starts getting cold and my vision starts going dark and darker until I'm out.
