A harmonious shock drowned the violent sound of battles that had been occupying Anspia. And, that very shock assaulted Alfraed's unprepared ears. The sharpness was undeniable and true, causing the young man to suffer a constant painful ringing inside his head. Fortunately, as he possessed remarkable recovery, it took him a mere pair of seconds to recover.

"Mr. Logick… can you, please, repeat what you just said?"

Vanessa, who was certainly not in a great shape or mood, asked Alfraed to mention his request once more with a shaky voice. Her current tired appearance vastly contradicted her usual ideal figure during work hours. However, it magically did not diminish her charm.
