At the same time when the adventurers and knights sighted the numerous flying shadows above the camp, the ground quivered. Their mind reflexively thought it was an earthquake. However, the timing was too coincidental with the shadows' appearance. Moreover, the vibration approached ever closely.

This was an unnatural phenomenon. Undoubtedly, something terrible tried to breach the surface with astounding vigor.

"... This is bad… everyone, WATCH OU…!!?"

A knight figured out what type of uninvited guests would intrude on their place. While moving further away from his initial spot, he tried to warn the others of the approaching danger.

Sadly, the knight failed to do so. His attempt was interrupted as the ground underneath his feet erupted. His shocked voice, along with his body, was swallowed by a towering, monstrous figure that emerged from the earth.
