Chapter Two: The Blackmail
When Daisy returns to the Cafè, Philip suddenly says goodbye to her and leaves everything to Lorena.
"I'm sorry if I kept you waiting." Daisy said.
"No worries Daisy, I'll let my wife handle everything about the house for you. I have an urgent meeting in the City Hall and I need to go there as soon as possible" Philip said.
"Oh, sure!" Daisy's innocence reaction.
Daisy knows where Philip is going and she is sure not in the City Hall but in the place where Dolores as his mistress is waiting for him.
After Philip left, Daisy immediately sat down and spoke to Lorena.
"Mrs. Dy, before we start, please allow me to order a coffee for the two of us." Daisy's offer.
"How sweet of you. Thank you." Lorena responded with a huge smile on her face.
Daisy went to Cashier not just to order a coffee but she is planning something else.
A moment later;
"Mrs. Dy, you know what, I'm so excited to attend the D'Exhibit, I forgot to thank your husband regarding the invitation." Daisy said.
"Small things Daisy. That exhibit was Dolores' dream and now it is a dream come true for her late father." Lorena replied.
"Dolores? Philip mentioned her name earlier, she was a campaign manager of Councilor, am I right?" Daisy asked for confirmation like pretending she's not sure.
"That's true. We really trusted Dolores and because of her, my husband got into politics. Dolores is an admired personality here in San Ildefonso City." Lorena responded.
"Wow! She sounds very influential." Daisy said.
"Indeed!" said Lorena.
"I'm not just excited to attend the D'Exhibit. I'm also excited to see her and meet her in person." Daisy's pretending that she's excited to see Dolores for the first time.
"Really? We have pictures together! I'll show them to you." Lorena said.
"Sure!" Daisy said after drinking a coffee.
Lorena showed her pictures with Dolores via her phone.
"She looks familiar." Daisy's curiosity in a pretending way.
"Really? No doubt, she's famous here in San Ildefonso City" Lorena said.
"Actually, she was with me in the restroom earlier. I even accidentally heard her talking to her boyfriend over the phone and planning to go to Jerome's office?" Daisy's question to Lorena.
"Boyfriend?" Lorena laughed.
"Dolores is single! You may not know that we were so happy that Dolores and her ex-husband were divorced already. If she was here earlier but why didn't she show up?" Lorena's curiosity.
"I have no idea. I don't know her either. Maybe she went straight to Jerome's office?" Daisy said like she's giving Lorena an idea of Dolores whereabouts and at the same time, getting more information about Jerome's office, where it is located and what's the office name exactly.
"It's JAW office, Jerome ArtWorks. Dolores partnered with Jerome for an opening of her exhibit. JAW was about to bankrupt but Dolores was there to save him. Jerome is somehow beneficial because of his knowledge and for sure Dolores could use him." Lorena's explanation.
Now, Daisy got more information about JAW.
Before their meeting ends, a Cashier approached Lorena to give her a paper which has written on it.
After she read the letter, "Excuse me, where did you get this?" Lorena's question to the Cashier.
"Someone just gave it to me. No worries, I did not open it. That's what the stranger ordered me to." the Cashier replied, then left right away.
Daisy noticed how Lorena's mood suddenly changed after reading the letter. Daisy made that letter and secretly ordered the Cashier to give it to Lorena in exchange of cash.
"Mrs. Dy, is everything alright? Is there a problem? Maybe, I can help you?" Daisy's worries to Lorena.
"I think, that's it for today Daisy. I really appreciate your time to discuss the property you want to purchase." Lorena said.
"No problem, Mrs. Dy." Daisy replied.
"I have to go, Daisy, goodbye for now." Lorena said and preparing her bag to leave.
"Sure, take care, Mrs. Dy." Daisy said with so much worries on her face.
Lorena immediately finished the meeting with Daisy as she has some important things to confirm what the letter had said. However, Daisy knows where she's going.
When Lorena left the Cafe', Daisy then started to smile like a devil despite having an angelic face as her revenge plan against Dolores is now one step closer. And this time, because of the information Daisy received, she got another idea on how to ruin Dolores' influence in San Ildefonso City.
Three days before the opening night of D'Exhibit, Jerome received an email from an unknown user containing nude pictures and videos of his former clients. Jerome was once a photographer and a filmmaker as well.
At the very end of the email he read it;
"WORK WITH ME OR I'LL RUIN YOUR REPUTATION BY SPREADING THESE PICTURES AND VIDEOS VIA SOCIAL MEDIA!". A blackmail against Jerome.
"Who the hell are you?!" Jerome said with so much frightened.
Someone also called Jerome's phone but an unknown number. Then, Jerome answered the call promptly because he knows that it has something to do with the email he had received.
"Hello Jerome!" a greeting from the unknown caller.
Jerome heard the man's scary voice.
"What are you up to?! Do you think I'm afraid of your blackmail?" Jerome said.
"It's not a blackmail Jerome, it's a choice! And I would like you to know that choice is not something that I give away freely. Now, I am giving you a choice to make things right." said the unknown caller.
"What? A choice?" Jerome's question.
"Yes Jerome. It's capital C-H-O-I-C-E. Now, work with me before Mayor Fernando Salvatierra dump you when he finds out about his son's nude pictures and videos with the most beautiful and famous journalist in town." the unknow caller's scare to Jerome.
Jerome looked at his laptop again and saw a new email and opened it immediately. There, he saw the attachment containing nude pictures and sex videos of Mayor Salvatierra's son.
"You have 60 seconds to make a decision and create a new life. The choice is yours." The Unknown caller dropped the call.
Jerome is struggled to decide what to do. In his case, he had no choice but to accept the offer from the unknown caller because of fear.
Jerome responded via email in just 30 seconds by saying that he agreed to work with her.
Daisy White is the Unknown Caller and the one who blackmailed Jerome. She used a voice changer device to keep her identity safe. This time, she is now one step closer to destroy Dolores's influential in town.
At 3:00 am
Daisy has checked in temporarily at Ildefonso Hotel & Suite. In her deep sleep, she dreamed of Magda Soliman's journey of death.
In her dream, she saw how Magda was crying and screaming when she was thrown into jail. She also hears gunshots and waves from the ocean.
She also saw Magda being tied up in the chair, unable to escape, shouting, crying, and begging.
"Help me, I'm innocent! Please help me! I'm innocent!" Magda's scream for help.
The words were repeated over and over again.
When Magda screamed loudly, Daisy woke up immediately with so much scared and then started to cry.
Then, she got up from her bed and went to the terrace. Then, she sees how beautiful and mesmerizing nature is.
She sees the stars shining above the sky which indicates hope. She feels the strong wind and cold air telling her not to give up on the fight. But she also hears the powerful waves of the sea expressing anguish and suffering.
"My understanding of revenge is a motivation by identification or ego involvement. It means that I want revenge not just because I have to but because I want to. It's a self-determination, it's a powerful desire, and a strong feeling of emotion that needs understanding." Daisy's words running on her mind.
Daisy is now ready to dive into bloody revenge. She's going to destroy all the members of the secret Philippine Mafia called SCORPIA one by one. Reputation to reputation, life to life, and blood to blood. SCORPIA has 11 members and Dolores Chua is her first target and tomorrow is the beginning of her darkness in life.
Dolores exposed Magda in public as the mysterious mistress of Fernando Salvatierra. But Dolores was the real mistress at that time. That is why, Daisy will make sure that the mortification that Magda experienced from Dolores, will also happen to that bitch mistress and much worst than she expected.
"I always believe that innocence is a powerful weapon you can use on the battlefield. If you are innocent of all the crimes and terrorism you have been stoned to, fight for it. But if they condemned how innocent you are, show them its Darkside." These are the continues words running on Daisy's mind as she ponders and watches the beautiful scenery.
Daisy assures that all SCORPIA members will pay for their sins and wickedness for framing the innocent one, Magda Soliman to a deadly terrorist attack in town. Daisy won't stop until they get vanished in this world.
