Chapter Twenty nine

Avery turned in the direction of the cool inquisitive voice to see the face of the blonde from yesterday staring her down. The look in her eyes was one of detached assessment, probing as if searching for what makes Avery tick, or probably wants to find out secrets Avery herself isn't aware of having. Avery returned her assessment with one of her own, as her eyes studied the blonde from head to toe taking in her features, and her badass gets up.

Avery felt a little intimidated by the blonde but she made sure to keep her face expressionless as she waited for the blonde to break the silence and state why she was here because Avery was sure as hell not going to be the one to break it.
