1 How it began

This story takes place in a whole new world, you can even call it a different universe. But there won't be any space travels and all that.

Let's start with the world's name, Garldo. No one knows it's appropriate size, water land ratio or even it's population. Well they used to. It was similar to our earth, having Humans and different species of creatures living in it, until the whole world went through a mutation.

Animals, plants and even the humans mutated. But there was a problem, the humans experienced theirs twenty years after the first confirmed mutation.

That was when their comeback started, but they had lost a lot of their technological knowledge, even with that they still prevailed. Even with all the deaths and suffering they survived. They built strongholds for themselves as protection.

They went on missions and campaigns beyond their walls to retrieve lost knowledge, and over time they were able to improve on them.

They had to, most of the techs they had stopped functioning, because they lacked a power source. Electricity couldn't be made the way it used to because even the elements mutated.

It took them years to solve this problem but after that a new one aroused in it's place, most of the technology they retrieve weren't working with the new power source. And while that was happening infighting started. People believing themselves to be born to lead began uprisings. This lasted for five years and caused the loss of some strongholds.

All this led to a further decline in their population. Strongholds became classified as cities, and the alliance that had naturally formed was destroyed. The reclaimed lands were divided into territories and each was owed by single individuals, families and organizations.

But this led to faster improvement. New techs and weapons to combat the Monsters were made. Understand standing on science were rediscovered, and even the effects of the mutation on humans were researched.

What did they find. Let's start with animals, their mutation were classified as Demonization and Magical. Making demon and magic beasts.

Demon beasts were animals whose mutation changed and strengthened their bodies like the iron back alligator or the Winged Panther, they are known for having immense physical strength, defense and speed. They are completely agressive and and a the major cause death outside the cities. They also carryout attacks on the cities and have destroyed some successful.

Magical beasts on the other hand while less agressive and hardly attack except provoked, are animals that a able to manipulate nature, they also have strengthened bodies but not like their demonized counterparts. What they have is the ability to create an energy in their body and through manipulate elements like fire, water and earth. Like ice wolf and and fire fox.

Plant didn't change much and not much is known about their mutation. Those known should more resilience and regenerative abilities. Like the devil shrub.

Humans go through what is called an awakening. A very painful process at the age of twelve were the brains ability to manipulate nature like magical beasts do is unlocked.

With all this said, let's move on to the main story shall we.
