Chapter 49: Did Something happen?

"I just miss her caring attitude. She always sounds like my mother." Ayla explained with a smile. There was a look of longing in her eyes, which made Hayden's heart ache a bit.

"Do you miss your mom?" Hayden asked the question that has been bugging him several times. He wanted to know what her thoughts and feelings on that were. 

"Saying I miss her is an understatement. I just wish she would be back to rock me to sleep, sing me a song, and tell me everything will be alright. I still crave her warmth." Ayla explained vividly. She really yearned for her mother's presence. Unfortunately for her, her mother was gone for good. She would never be able to see her again in this lifetime.
