14 14. Confronting The Coward (1)

As Noah rntered the classroom, he felt a passionate gaze casted on him, and without even turning his head, he knew it was Ling Yi's. The girl was obsessively in love with him, and he was getting increasingly revolted by her caked-up-makeup face.

Luna entered casually, her sights set upon the now horrified girl with the thick makeup on her face. The delicate mouth behind her mask arched its ends in amusement. She held back her laughter as she saw blood draining from Ling Yi's face.

And the girl was horrified-terribly so.

' H-h-how... even Brother Heming was sent to her! Did they not do their job properly?!' she thought, as her hands automatically shielded her cheeks, a subsconcious action that she'd perform whenever she knew she mistepped.

Brother Heming was the third best fighter of the Delinquent Ambrosia, just after her father and her father's second-hand man, who felt he did not need to send such a large 'crowd' to finish off one puny little girl that dared to harm his daughter, but in order to pacify her he decided it was best to send the third best.

She was not completely pacified by the decision- but at least she was quite satisfied with the arrangement. But who knew...

That Luna girl would show up again today! She thought she'd been lying on any side road, badly beaten and bruised, but at least not dead yet. Ling Yi, being the vicious girl she is, wanted to badly harass and torture Luna, ransacking her life until the shameless wretch would finally quit from Imperial Hibiscus and back to whatever rundown countryside school she had came from.

She calmed herself down. There was no way a dumb girl like Luna would know it was her behind the attack- she must've taken a different road to school today, seeing how she arrived to school by foot and not sent by any luxurious vehicles the students here were used to!

Yes, that must be it! There's no need to be afraid! She told herself, again and again, and her erratically beating heart gradually calmed down, minutely softening her stiff expression.

Unfortunately for her, this was all noticed by both Luna and Noah, who tacitly exchanged glances as both made their way to the back of the classroom, where both of their seats were situated.

Luna stared at Noah for a bit before she took out the heavy black phone from her pocket. Noah's brows junped in delight seeing this girl opening up more and more to him, but he kept his stoic expression as he sent a glance towards Luna.

The message was conveyed- the plan was set in motion.

Luna typed fast on the keyboard on the interface of her phone, and after a short 10 seconds she leaned back on her chair contentedly.

That girl was so brainless that it seemed her advanced-technology phone was affected by it. It was so easy to hack into without even being noticed.

Noah's brows jumped. His spendthrift cousin had used the same phone as Ling Yi, boasting that " It was the best, newest smartphone on the market with top-tier securities.

He had smiled through it all. Why would he need to care? Top-tier security? Sure, on the market.

The 4 heirs' phone can't be found on the market anywhere, as they were all custom-made with top grade military security-type encryption. There wasn't even a brand logo on the stainless phone, with glass made from armor glass which wouldn't even shatter at the impact from a sniper-rifle bullet.

His cousin's bragging actually made him look like an uneducated, worthless clown in Noah's eyes.

But now he had seen the 'Top-tier security, technologically advanced phone' being hacked by Luna within a matter of seconds! Her fingers were so fast it was a blur even to the extremely-highly-trained eyes of Noah's.

Amazing....

Luna's eyes twitched as she saw the starry eyed expression Noah had on his face.

It made him look like a lovestruck fool.

Lucky for him....

It's a cute one.

Otherwise she would've felt like vomiting.

The last bell rang. Luma had been highly protected by the alpha males surrounding her that she had felt quite irritated and suffoccated by it.

She had survived 15 long years without anyone by her side. Although she was enrolled in a class for 17 years olds, she was actually only 15 years old in age. She had skipped grades with that impeccable brain of hers, and even till now, she actually did not belong to this class.

Outside the school gates, her friends walked fast to a deeply hidden, black alley while Noah and her stood outside the school gates, seemingly chatting and quite intimately so.

Ling Yi's eyes went ablaze upon the sight that she had forgotten that Noah was a very private kind of guy, so he did not like chatting in public.

Other than her's, Luna strangely felt another fiery gaze directed towards her. It was silently suppressed, but it brought forth a cold, chilly wind.

This feeling... was kind of...

Familiar?

Rafael casted down his glance to hide the terrifying storm swirling in his eyes.

She dismissed her thought as Noah pulled her sleeves like a kid asking for a candy. Luna nodded her head and both of them pretended to go to ' the new cafe situated near the back of the school' where they had to pass the dark alley. Soon, they dissappeared from sight.

This caused the jealousy raging in Ling Yi to burn further. Are they going to the new couples' cafe behind the school? This can't do. She will ruin the date and purposely anger Luna, which will surely prompt her to reveal her true, vulgar colours on front of Noah, prompting the latter to be revolted by her.

She was particularly brainless when her brain needed to function properly. After all, she was a rich young miss who thoght that she could live a good life with her daddy's money and only needed to find a rich husband which she will easily get given her wealthy background and pretty face.

Her mindset was the stereotypical 'sheltered missy' type, who thought they always deserved the best because their whole life everything was handed to her on a diamond platter. She never needed to work hard for it.

She had set her sights on Noah as her main hisband candidate, given his looks, power, wealth, wit amd gentleness. She had fallen in love with him since young and anyone who dared to covet what's hers has always have to face the severe consequences.

This Luna girl will be no different from the others, except that she didn't have the looks, the background nor the manners, all of which Ling Yi possessed.

Once Noah realised that Ling Yi was better for him than that worthless firl in front of him, he will surely help her to make Luna's live a living hell!

Then they'll live a blissful, lovey-dovey marital life.

Her eyes shone as she could already vision their sweet after school dates, the magnificent wedding of the century they'll have and their future family in front of her eyes.

Her whole body radiated happiness with these thoughts, as they fueled her energy to fillow the both of them discreetly...

Or so she thought.
