Her Call

Mr. Yadav was already used to his behavior as he had been working for him since three years.

They soon entered into the elevator and went to upper floor where the conference room was present. Everyone was already present in the room and as soon as Samer and his assistant entered everyone stood up to greet them. Soon the meeting started.

The meeting continued for about four hours. It was already one'o clock when he got the call from Tina. Seeing her name his expression changed from that cold to gentle as he smiled naturally and picked up the call.

" Are you done with your work? I am done and already had lunch with my client. You too have your lunch soon. " Tina said with concerned.

" Meeting just finished and I am going to have lunch now. " Samer answered gently.

" Hmm good... " before finishing her sentence he heard someone bumped into her and then he heard " Ira? It's been so many days. How are you doing. "

Hearing the name 'Ira' his expression suddenly changed and then he heard " I am doing fine. Sorry I have some work to do. "

To this Tina said " It's absolutely fine. Work is more important. Let's catch up in our free time. " Afterwards from the otherline he heard " Sure.. Bye "

When he heard no sound from Ira he warned Tina angrily " Just stay away from that vicious girl. No need to make contact with her. "

" she sighed.. It's already been so many years now. Let's just forget what she had done to us and again she seems to be changed for better now. "

"I don't care. I only know that she tried to harm you. I can never forgive her" he replied.

He heard the closing of car door from background " Fine fine.. Let's not talk about that. I am going back now. I will message you after reaching home. "

" Hmm OK.. Drive slowly. Take care." And he hung up the call.

Soon after ending up the call his phone started ringing. Just one glance on his screen made his expression turned cold and bitter. It was the call from Ira. He picked up the call and without giving her any chance to speak he shouted warily " Ira are you insane? If I will find you trying to cause trouble for her again, you can't even imagine what I will to do you. You better stay away from her. "

He didn't listen to what she wanted to say and soon after he hung up on her. He again got some calls from her after that but without answering he hung up everytime her name popped up on his screen. When he finally couldn't withstand he blacklisted her number and went to restaurant to have his lunch along with his close colleagues.

After Samer finished eating he went into his room to have a small nap. Before closing his eyes he opened his phone. Tina still had not replied him. So he decided to give her a call by himself. Even after calling for several times he got no response. He thought she might be busy somewhere so he didn't give it much consideration.

He had to attend evening meeting and a birthday banquet of his colleague. And so he decided to rest for a while.

After two hours of rest he finally opened his eyes. There was half an hour left for his next meeting. He hurriedly steadied himself and got ready.

He picked up his phone from the table and tried to turn it on. But his phone was dead. So he plugged in his phone to charge it and soon Mr. Yadav came knocking his door. They both left the room and went to attend the meeting at five'o clock.

Samer was somewhat started feeling insecure since he didn't get to talk to Tina. So he tried his best to finished the meeting as early as possible. Meeting finished just in an hour later.

After that he reluctantly attended the birthday banquet. After staying there just for an hour he made some excuse to leave the party. Mr. Yadav also followed him outside and they both entered their respect rooms which were adjacent to each other.

As soon as Samer entered his room he hurriedly turned his phone on. And as the loading of his phone finished he saw so many missed calls. Some calls were from his Grandfather's while some were from the same new number. Looking at the number of missed calls his heart started beating vigorously which made him feel something wasn't right.
