64 Grandpa, On Tour

"By the way, I felt bad for what happened with Tina. You were going to be engaged so soon. And then it happened."

Siddharth's words brought Samer back into reality.

"If I were in your place I would have everyone paid for every wrong deed happened with my lover." Siddharth continued.

His words were like adding fuel to the already existing extreme fire.

Samer broke out in cold sweat. His whole body was trembling.

After a moment, he took a deep breath to calm himself down and said "Investigation is still going. But I couldn't find out who exactly killed her. May be those people are really something that the top level agencies also couldn't trace out who they actually are..."

Samer stopped speaking in the middle. It was like as if he almost forgot that Tina is no more in this world.

He was so infatuated with Ira that he forgot about Tina.

He hold his anger and again continued "But I will make sure to let everyone pay her back whatever they owed to her."

Siddharth again gulped down a glass and then smiled at his reply "Now that's what a real man do!"

Samer didn't go with much details with him about his personal life. But from Siddharth's way of speaking about his wife, he can conclude that in one way or the other they both are the same. They both are suffering from the same pain - the pain given by the ones who they loved.

...

Ira only wanted to know whether Samer has accepted her gift or not. So when she stepped inside 'their' bedroom she looked in the direction of the table.

For a moment, happiness flooded inside her. But then as if by instinct, her sight fell on the dustbin. And there she saw the bag.

Her happiness didn't even last for a minute.

'Like every gifts I had presented him on various occasions, this too ended up living in dust bin.'

Whenever she didn't find her gifts in the place where she kept, she would always see them inside the dustbin of the class. And this was the reason even this time her instinct told her to look there.

Though her gifts were not that expensive as her rich classmate, but whatever she would gift him it was all by her heart.

One could understand how it feels after seeing your hard work went like a garbage.

Ira couldn't even estimate his hatred for her. Everytime she had tried to do something for him, it had only increased the misunderstandings between them.

And the worst part was that she never knew the source, why and how it's happening.

'When I wanted to have a talk with him so that I could know the reason, for everyone I had turned into a slut that no one even wanted to come near me much less listen me.'

She felt that life has been a curse for her as if she owed something from her previous life.

She gave a bitter laugh to herself, her temper flaring up. She thought that if it continues like this, her limit will soon get over.

But I have to endure. Endure everything for him.

When Samer came back home, he has some different and depressing aura around him. Ira could feel it even standing at few meters away from him.

During dinner, Grandfather Moon suddenly chuckled due to which he choked on his food.

Both Ira and Samer started looking at his weird behaviour.

After taking some water he said "I am going on a trip with some of my friends for almost a month the day after tomorrow. So you both will be alone during that period."

Grandfather Moon then cleared his throat and stressed out loudly "No one will be there to disturb your privacy."

If it was some other day, Ira's face would have already been flushed due to his clear remarks. But today she is having a very bad feeling that her mind was wandering on something else.

He then looked at Samer and exclaimed "Are you listening brat!!"

He again shamelessly said to both of them "I am waiting to hear some good news from both of you soon!"

Ira abd Samer continued eating their meal as if they didn't listen him.

Grandfather Moon could only sigh at their dumb behaviour.

Samer didn't eat much as his stomach was uncomfortable due to alcohol consumption. The good thing was that it wasn't that painful like the last time. While Ira's mood affects her digestion.

Inside the bedroom..

Samer was on a call when Ira came. She didn't dare to make any noise and attract his attention towards her.

Her mood was really bad afterall. She was afraid if she opened her mouth their relation will worsen even more.

Her sight fell on the photos which were kept on the bed.

Just then a strong gush of wind blew inside the whole room through the window. And all the photos spread all over.

Ira picked up one photo that fell near her. Her hand was grabbed when she was just going to take a look at it.

"Don't even dare to dirty this photo by touching it with your filthy hands." Samer shouted angrily.

Actually it was only a small thing. But his temper was already so heated up today that he just wanted a small reason to take it out all on someone.

Ira retracted her hand. She guessed that this photo must have Tina's memories on it. She listened him quitely.

Samer felt his anger flaring up even more when he saw the careless look on her face.

He started picking up all the photos by himself.

Ira on the other hand slept peacefully on the sofa, her heart still restless.

When Grandfather Moon went for the tour, Ira felt the mansion has become empty. It was only because of him that there was some sort of happiness. But now she felt like the happiness has vanished from the house.

There was only sound of servants working. Without that, it would have dead silence.
