1 Chapter 1

"Hey, Amy!" as I ran to my best friend she saw me instantly and started to run over to me. " Hey, girl!!" she would always call me 'girl' and never by my first name." watcha up to?" " Nothing much" I replied. We walked and talked together on our way to school as we did every morning. It was our thing that we've been doing for the past 11 years. We were now both 15 and had been best friends since the age of 4. The two of us were inseperable and nothing could get in our way. "So have you finished that one assesment with Ms.yung?" questioned Amy. "No! When is it supposed to be done by?" I asked hoarsly. "Tomorrow!!" She replied, astonished of how I could miss an assesment. Of all days she was having the worst of them all and it didn't get better from there.

As they both walked to their own separate classes, on the way to class I bumped into a boy. The boy must be trying to get to his location very quickly for he was rushing quite quickly. Like anyone would! As I looked down I could see his books sprawled out around the floor. " Oh, I'm so sorry, here let me help you!" I bent down to pick up his things and help him but at the same time he bent down and we seemed to collide eachothers heads. " Oh, god I'm so sorry!" As the young boy hurriedly said this he held his head where I had bumped into him. "No, no it's my fault don't blame yourself I should have seen you coming and not bumped into you then none of this would happened." We both stood up, books in hand and as I passed his books to him I caught a glance of his eyes. They were a beautiful shade of sky blue with a shade of green. His eyes complimented his flowing blonde hair perfectly. "Well my name is Noah", " That's a nice name" I complemented him. "Thank you" He replied.

I asked what class he was in and he said he was in class 203 the same as mine so I questioned if he wanted to walk to class with me. He said that he would love to and we walked down the hall. It was nothing but silence as we walked together down the long halls. I could tell he was nervous and for some reason, so was I. I couldn't really tell what I was feeling because no boys ever felt nervous around me. For I wasn't the type of girl boys would have a crush on. But that was possibly only because I was a very boyish girl who would rather hang around boys than girls. I was always taller than my friends and I was really smart but I would believe that I was really pretty to be honest. I of course had my female friends with me at all times now but when I was younger all I used to do was play with my brother and boys at school until I got to the age of about 10 and I moved schools with Amy. Now we've only ever been friends with girls but we still talk and have conversations with boys, it's just not as fun than with girls.

As I was walking home by myself I noticed that I saw Noah walking alone on his phone. I'm not the type of girl that is so confident to just walk up to boys and start talking to them I've just never been that confident with boys. I pretend to walk faster and pull out my phone. I start walking past him and I had gone around 2 metres I slowed down again. Some girls walk past me going in the different direction, they start to stare at me and stop."Hey loser!" one of the girls shout out to me. The girl standing next to her starts to snigger after hearing what her friend had just said in her ear. I stop and turn around, out of the corner of my eye I can see that Noah has stopped aswell and started staring at the two girls but he hadn't realised that I knew he was there.

One of the two girls tells me to stop staring at them. What was I supposed to do?! They called me a loser! I turned around and started to walk away. But of course, they started to follow me. "Hey fatty, where ya going!" I was dumbfounded. Furious. And it seemed like Noah was too. "The hell did you just call her!?" I turned to see Noah, red with fury, march up to me and the two girls. One of the girls started stuttering as she tried to make out what she was trying to say. "I-I I'm s-sorry" The two girls rushed out of sight as quick as a flash. I wasn't too happy. The two girls made an absolute fool of me in front of Noah. " I'm sorry to bother you Noah" I wasn't sure of what to say except to apologise to him. " What are you saying sorry for?" his voice was playing a beautiful melody into my ears. " Well I got you mixed up with all of this" I replied. " No you didn't" he replied, with a shy smile. "Well I must be off then, see you!" he gestured a wave and walked off in opposite direction.

An overcast day is the exact thing you need to start off an awful day, and today was one of them. " Hey, Amy! " I could hear a stern but sweet voice calling from my left. It was Noah. " Hey Noah! " I replied with a small smile. " Did you run all this way?" I questioned with a smirk as he was so puffed out he could barely speak properly. " No...I....was....just...jogging" he replied between short gasps of air. " Woah, slow down, your going to hurt yourself!" I answered patting his back comfortably. We both walked up what seemed like a million flights of stairs to get to our classroom. " We have this class together, don't we?" he asked " yea" I replied shortly after, staring out of a window to my right. I was always so fascinated with storms, although it wasn't raining nor were there any lightning strikes or thunder, but I was still mesmerized by the magnificent redish-orange sky before me. I was awaken from my daydream when Noah told me that he made a couple of friends in his math class.

" Oh really?" I asked, " Just with this one girl and her friends, it's so strange how when they're hanging around me they have really red faces." I looked at him shocked 'Does he not know?' I asked silently in my mind. "Have you got many friends since I first met you?" He asked with a small smile that really warmed my heart. " No just Penelope, you know the one close friend I have besides you?" I replied looking down. " Oh I'm sorry I thought you had more friends than that" He turns around to face me and his face has an apologetic face on him as though he blames himself for me not having any friends. I smile sweetly at him as though I genuinely thought that it was a good thing for him to have girls surrounding him all the time. Even though I would rather him have boys around him but still, if he made friends I guess I'm happy for him. Am I ?
