Assistant Manager

Wasting the time looking for the doorbell, you nervously tapped it as you finally found where it is.

While you tapped it once again, the boys couldn't help but groan.

"Guys answer whoever the person is outside our house", Jin stated to them not even wondering who it was.

"I'm tired...Let Jungkook open it", Jimin replied as he took a seat on the couch.

"Hyung what if it's a sasaeng? I don't want to die, at least not yet. Let Taehyung open it.", Jungkook quickly shifted his eyes from Jin back from his phone as he tried to hide his scared face. Yeah, he was obviously exaggerating his thoughts.

"Ok I'm up. Saviour on the go," Taehyung said in a weird alien voice. This was normal, right? Right?

"Who are you?! What are you doing here at this hour?!" he shouted as loud as he can. Not caring about the person who looked at him nervously. You immediately sat up and bowed a couple of times.

"I'm sorry I wake you up. I'm Y/N your new...assistant...manager..." you stuttered nervously as you looked at him in the eyes. It was truly mesmerizing but this wasn't the time to fantasize about it. Get a grip, Y/N!

"Are you sure?! What if you're a sasaeng?!" he retorted and you let out a bitter chuckle. Let's just say you were prepared for it.

You waited for him to come as he went back to the house. Surprisingly, Jin was the one who came instead of him. Knowing that he's older than you, you bowed 90°. Like it was immediate bow for him and he bowed back. You knew that this guy is different from the first one, not rude.

(Bowing 90° is a sign of utmost respect to the elders or higher/superior status in Korea, both in South and North. This is also practiced in other Asian countries, but I'm sticking with the South Korean culture.)

You introduced yourself again while he welcomed you. You still didn't know all their names. So you blamed yourself by not listening to Yun Shi. A fan who does not know her idols' names? Weird.

You were about to ask where you should park the car but someone butted in.

"Hyung, who was tha- you're very familiar" he said, examining your face and body.

"really?" just then, everything kicked in. The man you met a few days ago. The man who accidentally spilled coffee on your shirt and his own. The man who was quite handsome and tall is an idol and part of BTS. That sounds so interesting.

"Oh sh*t, you're the guy—sorry for my vulgar word but nnooicee, you're the guy who spilled the coffee," Jimin spilled the tea. You were embarrassed for the third time in your entire life. Jin was staring at you both.

"I could've said anything but that. I'm sorry about that," he apologized once again. He didn't have to.

"As I've said, it was fine. It's not like that was the only T-shirt that I have. As your new manager, it's very rude for me to not introduce myself. I am (Y/N S/N)." again, you bowed.

"Sorry Y/N, come here. Come in. You could park your car there. Sorry, I thought you'd come here by tomorrow. I forgot that our manager is having a vacation. Again I'm really sorry." Jin said with sadness in his tone and that worried you. Guilt trip time.

"Hey, don't be sorry. It's fine, it's my fault for not telling you. I'll park the car now."

"Hyung, I'll take Y/N here. Come on I'll show you to your room. Park your car first." Jimin quickly said earning Taehyung's glare.

After parking, he opened the car door and carried a baby. Then, you carefully opened the trunk while Jimin held him. You took all of your belongings and both of them traded. You held Eunwoo while he carried all of the bags. Again, you felt sorry for him. You never expected your first day to be like this, to have someone who lend his hand

"Uhm Y/N, not to sound rude but I just want to ask, is he your son?" he smiled which made you chuckle. "Oh and by the way, be careful around here," he added.

"yeah, I take care of him, but he's originally adopted by my brother. But why do you sound like something negative will happen?"

" Aaahhh, I thought he's your child. He is, but adopted. Just…forget it, it's not helpful. It's just a warning. How old are you Y/N by the way?" dang, he's straightforward.

" I'm 20 already, 21 in September 2,"

" Ooops, I'm a year older than you. How about your baby?"

" He's name is Eunwoo. He is 3 years old. His birthday is on February 14, "

Jimin nodded and both of you went inside quietly. By the time you arrived inside the house, Jungkook stood up.

" Who are you? What are you doing here? Why are you bringing a child?" he interrogated. He was just like the first man that greeted you like that. He must be his younger brother. He looks young.

"Come on Jungkook don't be like that. Don't worry Y/N he is just not in the mood today" Jimin exhaled deeply. Wow, it surely had its roots.

You just smiled at him as you averted your attention to Jungkook. After smiling at him, you bowed. Inside, you were throwing daggers. He just had to shout, huh? You gently stroke the back of her son to calm him after Jungkook shouted, it was enough for Eunwoo to wake up.

Soon, everyone heard his crying voice. You patted him and the little guy noticed that both of them isn't at the same house anymore.

"Why do you have to be so loud that you woke the child?" the guy with the mint hair scolded.

"Be sorry and show her, her room, and done" he continued.

Everyone kept quiet as Jungkook laid on the other couch beside you, not even caring that you were standing there. Jimin lightly put his back on you but it wasn't a close touch. It was just to support you. He guided her and put the bags inside.

She went inside her room after he showed them where it is and placed her son on her bed. You changed his clothes to night clothes, Bt21 clothes. Although she didn't fully know the group, Yun Shi was there to buy her merchandise.

She was applying her skincare when Eunwoo randomly speak up which made her quiet.

"that good-looking Ahjussi is mean. Don't like him. I like the one... Carry me..."

She went silent and ruffled his hair making him whine.

"I just styled my hair," whined little Eunwoo.

                (One day later)

She woke up to the sound of Eunwoo's heavy breathing. He was always like this when he felt uneasy. She stroke her back and sang a lullaby to him. She wanted to settle things with him, always wishing that he will not have nightmares anymore. It pained her as a mom, seeing him like that every night.

After making sure that he's alright again, she took a bath very early because she was going to her favourite cafe store. After bath, she brushed her teeth and headed out to her table to get her wallet. Then, she went to the kitchen to look at the missing ingredients.

She whispered something and flinched because of a sound that she heard, it wasn't hers.

"Who's that?" she asked. She made a fist and looked keenly.

"It's me Taehyung! Y/N?" Taehyung announced.

"Yes, it's me,"

"Why so early?! It's freaking 3 in the morning. Our schedule is 7. There's still a lot of time." he whispered-shouted at her.

"I just want to be early. I'm going outside to buy some coffee and such. By the way do you want coffee? Salted caramel? Machiatto? American brewed coffee?" she explained. She was a morning person.

"Caramel Latte. For the others, I think Milk tea, green tea, and Machiatto. For Kookie? coffee? I don't know."

"Ok so I'm gonna go. Sleep again please. Oh, by the way, could you take care of Eunwoo? He needed someone and you're the only person who's awake. I'll appreciate it if you do." She was embarrassed to say that but since he couldn't see her face, she was convinced that it'll be okay.

He nodded a yes and she walked away leaving him. Little did she know someone was eavesdropping her conversation with Taehyung. And guess who? It's Jungkook. Taehyung actually complimented her morning looks when she2 closed the door, but Jungkook being himself, he rolled her eyes at the so called compliment.

         Café Store

Y/N: Hi Tyron. Hi guys. Ooh~ Hello Alice Unnie.

"Hello Y/N. How's life going? Is Yunshi still obsessed with BTS? Did the virus finally attacked you?" Alice stated back.

"Yeah still obsessed with them. Nope but I'm their new assistant manager. And also their photographer." she simply stated at her.

"What?!?! Daebak!! Please tell Namjoon I love him a lot."

"Dear Unnie Alice, so silly of yours. Of course I'll tell him."

Both of them had a deep conversation when her orders finally came up. She took her leave and sighed heavily. There's still a lot on your plate.

"First thing to buy is Swiss Choco and Chocolate bars. I'll take a box of Swiss choco and a box of dark chocolates.  Second is Decorations for the upcoming event. Last, fruits and vegetables. " she said to herself and bought everything.

After buying, she stopped by at Yun Shi's house and was surprised to see Yun Shi hugging the photos of you while sleeping. You smiled at the sight of it and left some chocolates and coffee for her and her family.

You drive fast and dashed out to the door. You opened the door and heated the coffees and put the chocolates to the fridge and take some choco bars.

You put the fruits and vegetables at the kitchen counter and started to do your job. You cooked kimchi, fried rice, Chicken curry and bulgogi. You also arranged some of the plates.

It's basically 5 in the morning so you went to their room and wake them up.

It's easy to wake the older ones except for Yoongi and the younger ones. Jin told you that he'll just wake Yoongi so you just have to wake the other three.

When you got to the door beside yours, you noticed that no one was inside except for Jungkook. So, you went to your room and saw Jimin and Taehyung hugging Eunwoo tightly. They looked like they fell on a deep slumber as they didn't move an inch.

You gently pulled Jimin and he whined. You chuckled and told him to wake up. Later on, he woke up and he did the same with Taehyung.

You shook Eunwoo carefully and carried him. You smiled at him when he opened his eye. His morning looks are the best for you. You were shocked when Taehyung said that he and Jimin will help Eunwoo take a bath.

Little did you know, they looked at the paper you posted on the side of your door. It was your daily work.

Last stop, Jungkook. You thought it was hard to wake him up and your thoughts are correct. You had trouble waking him up.

"Jungkook?" you shook his feet a little but he just don't give a reaction to it.

"Jungkook wake up you have a photoshoot today and you need to do it early." you walk towards him in the bed and unluckingly, Jungkook pushed your chest real hard like a reaction when waking up raising his hands.

Everyone goes to Jungkook and Jimin's room as they heard a loud BOOM

"Y/N what's going- Y/N!! Hyung get a glass of water," Jimin was rubbing your back constantly.

Jin: Y/N are you hurt?!?!

Namjoon: Rub her back gently Jimin.

What happened Y/N?!

"Sshh!!! Keep your voice low, Jungkook might wake up. Don't worry it's not that hard. It didn't hurt badly. It's just-" you tried to stand up but you felt your rib cage crack.

"AAAAHHH!!"

You covered your mouth as you realised what you did. Meanwhile, Yoongi came with a glass of water and you drank it in one gulp.

Yoongi: Gosh Y/N we were so sorry about that.

"don't act like you're hurt Y/N. You just want attention from my hyungs,"Jungkook growled.

Jimin: don't ever say that Jungkook. Please respect her.

Jungkook: See that Y/N?! That's getting attention. Specially from Jimin Hyung. Why Hyung?!? Because she's pretty?!? Gosh she's even look like a brat.

He mumbled the last sentence.

"Shut up will you?!? Jungkook watch your language." the oldest spoke up.

Jungkook went past through you and sent dagger like glare and hit Jimin's shoulder and muble "nice try Y/N" to you.

Taehyung was the last one to know it as he put Eunwoo's clothes to the laundry. Everyone was looking at him. He was so cute. Wearing a Dinosaur onesie.

"Mommy, do I look cute? I wanted to wear the bunny one but uncle said this one will make me cuter."

"yes darling, very adorable."

"Jimin, you have that one right?" Yoongi said.

" yeah yeah. Little Treasure looks so cute. It's his nickname" he said as he saw your confused look.

You actually remembered it. He wore that one on their 4th muster. Your smile grew wider picturing an image of them two wearing the same clothes.

"three of you will look like a perfect family if you all wore like that" Yoongi added making you choke your food. Jimin immediately hand the water to you. Eunwoo smiled at your silliness and went back eating.

Other staffs bowed at you and some looked at you in disgust as they probably don't know you yet but after introducing yourself, they changed from judgmental to scared people.

Meanwhile, they looked at your son. A lot of people aweing at him and some were even taking pictures of him.

All went nice except for your breathing. Sometimes it's uncontrollable but still you manage to control it. You didn't say that you are the niece of their manager although you already said that you're the assistant.

Jin and Jimin is the only person who caught you having trouble breathing that's why they recommend a check up but you resist. You don't want them to worry. You tried to avoid their recommendations by helping the other photographers since they ask help.

Jungkook: don't even try to be the best Y/N. I know you're just taking attention.

You still ignore it even it irritates you but you noticed that he's not cold to your son. They actually played but sometimes Eunwoo will ignore him and go with Jimin. Welp, he deserves it.

After days, before March 2 arrive. The plan is up to date now and prepared neatly, the only thing that is lacking is Taehyung.

Y/N: Tae you have a day off right? ( Taehyung nods) Can you… perhaps go with me to surprise my friend?

Taehyung: Oh OK. What will we do?

You explain everything. About Yun Shi's birthday and Taehyung agrees to it and plans to bring BTS too. Of course, you agree.

"Don't worry the café is protected and it's closed for tomorrow due to the occasion."

At night

You wore a dinosaur onesie and Eunwoo too. You were having a little slumber party with the others. Of course, Jungkook refused to join.

You taught Jin how to bake a pizza with different toppings like oreo, pepperoni, lettuce with tomato and diced beef.

You also talk with Namjoon about Alice. And he agrees with it.

You just say " don't worry when you see her she's really beautiful and caring and one of the ideal type of yours". You just hope everything will went well.
