7 The Missing Pieces of Jewelry

"I lost so many pieces, the door wasn't broken, so I've asked your folks to check the security cameras for me." she touched her forehead with her palm. "I apologize," said Jon who was really apologetic of what had happened in his territory. "Will surely take care of this, Viv. I never wanted to disappoint you." "Well apart from the fact that this is quite disappointing," Vivian told him "The guests' safety should always be prioritized, Jon." "Yeah, I know" Jon shook his head, he is aware of being at fault this time. "I'll go ahead, make sure this will be fixed. We've alerted the police, raised heightened security.." she cut him off "I understand, see you later." she kissed him on the cheek and closed her door afterwards. Jon left the area with the two guards who were taking down notes the whole time.

After she had closed the door, Vivian went to her most favourite part of the suite, the bedroom. She reached for the bottom drawer and took out a box of oats. "Hello, my babies" she made a naughty smile and looked up. "It will be very difficult for them to look for you, even with heightened security" she laughed a bit while taking the pieces of the jewelry off the box, one by one.

Her mobile phone rang, and it was her friend Adrianna. "Hey, love." she greeted her friend, placing the phone near her left ear. Adrianna answered from the other line. "I heard you were with Jon," Vivian smiled a bit, "Are you two dating again?" she was very confused. "I won't say that at this point. But will try to get him back," Vivian assured her friend. "Are you currently staying at his place?" Vivian placed the phone near her right ear this time. "No, I'm at the hotel." she stood up and walked near the window. "I haven't heard if he's dating anyone yet." Adrianna laughed, "Woah, haha. Tell me, you've got plans of getting back with him." Vivian replied, "Of course, what's mine is mine, Addy '' she called her friend by the nickname. "I'll keep you posted", she said to her and hung up, as she picked up a photo album from a side table . The photos were of her and Jon, in their younger years. As teenagers, they have been so in love with each other. Vivian is the daughter of an owner of an entertainment production, she has been so busy with producing and directing films and had no time for him. Jon also lost time for their relationship as he was beginning to be busy with family business. He was going round the globe for their hotel chains. "Being a hotelier is a lot different from the entertainment industry" she could still remember the day he shouted at her. There were several misunderstandings between the two, which eventually led to their breakup. And even though their families wanted them to marry in the future, they just could not handle their differences, and thought that they may be either too young to be in love, or just not meant to be together. "You've dated a lot since," she spoke to one of their photos while touching his face on it. "But I'm not moving on Jon," Vivian said in a sad tone as she kept a tear from falling. "not now, not ever." She turned one more page and thought out loud, "I am going to be Mrs. Jonathan Albertson, no matter what it takes."
