81 The Middle Man

Justin missed Emily's cooking. She sent reminder texts at breakfast, lunch, and dinner so he would actually eat something while she was away but the take out had never felt lonelier.

They weren't completely out of contact. Emily sent texts in snatches, including secretly taken pictures of cool things she had seen on set and even a couple of celebrities he vaguely recognized from magazine covers found in line at the grocery store.

She was clearly having the time of her life and he was happy for her. He just wished he could see her. It had been days.

He tried keeping busy, meeting with Alexa and Zack three days in a row to hammer out details on what they wanted out of the game. The hard thing was that he functioned as the middle man because those two couldn't agree on anything.
