118 The Card King

Emily slept well that night since she was so exhausted from playing all day. The next day was a sea day on their way to the second stop of the cruise but there wasn't much they hadn't already done.

Although, Alexa did rouse the rest of the girls at the crack of dawn to do water aerobics despite many protests. Mandy decided to stay awake afterwards and get breakfast but Kristi and Emily went back to sleep after showering.

When she woke up again it was close to noon so she had missed her window for breakfast. She wandered to the top deck and found Justin, Mandy, and Zack playing cards while the others swam or sunbathed.

"Hey, you're awake!" Justin said, looking up at her with a happy smile. "Good to see you. Want to join our next round?"

"Nah, I'll just watch for now. But I want in on the next game." She pulled up a chair and proceeded to watch as her boyfriend destroyed everyone else for three consecutive rounds.
