141 Stalking

Emily left Pace University frustrated after someone threatened to call security on her for loitering when she wasn't a student. She really had no other plan. What was she thinking, forking out nearly $500 to fly to one of the most expensive cities in the world to stay in without having a concrete plan?

She hadn't seen Sam, though she had certainly seen people who knew her but looked unwilling to give her information to the crazy person staking out the theater department. She must not have had any classes in that building that day.

If Emily stayed there long enough, she would probably find her but then what? That was no guarantee she would be able to find Justin. Sam was playing guard dog. Who knew where she had him stashed away?

She returned to her hotel in a sketchy part of town, discouraged and out of ideas. It was the only place she could find for less than $100 a night.
