Have A Little Faith In Yourself

Emily hated how restricted she was by recovering from surgery. She wanted to be able to properly enjoy having a new member of the family around but that was difficult with how much pain she was in. She nearly cried the first day she felt better and was able to pick Ellie up when she reached her arms up for it. 

Her husband had been a saint throughout the recovery process and she knew how freaked out he had been when she had to get the emergency C-section. He hadn't been happy about the work commitments he had to deal with immediately afterward either. 

He hadn't wanted to do it at all but Emily didn't want him to ruin the business relationship with one of his biggest clients. She was the one who insisted he could take care of it and that she and the kids would be fine.
