"This year for the Turkey Games we're doing something new. Team games!" Justin's mom announced. "We've got an odd number so I'm making my husband participate."

"Dibs on Uncle Jacob!" Kaitlyn called. Everyone stared at her. "What?" she whined. "He's bigger and older so he'll have an advantage over you guys."

"Thanks, Kaitlyn," he said before patting her head. "I'll do my best not to let you down."

Emily latched on to Justin's arm. "He's mine."

He knew she was only teasing but his heart beat out of control anyway. "No complaints here."

"Guess that means I'm stuck with you," Sam said with a fake sigh. Lily cuffed her on the shoulder in retaliation.

"Okay, the teams are decided. First, we're going to be doing a grape toss. You have five minutes to try and get as many grapes into your partner's mouth as you can," Justin's mom said as she gestured to several bowls of grapes.
