130 Consequences

Justin woke up with a stiff neck and saliva on his keyboard. Gross. After wiping it off with a tissue he headed toward the living room where he found his girlfriend on the floor, staring blankly ahead as she clutched her phone.

"Em? Sweetheart, what's wrong?" he asked worriedly.

Was she sick or something? He had never seen her like this. Was it some sort of headache symptom or what?

She looked up at him mechanically. "Did you know?"

He scrunched up his face in confusion. "Know what?"

She got to her feet and repeated herself. "Did you know that I was a_special_discontinued_grape_juice?"

The world came crashing down around him. It was all over. He couldn't get his mouth to open.

Emily locked her furious eyes on his panicked ones accusingly. She spoke more coldly than he had ever heard before but got progressively angrier with each word.
