99 Anything For You

The rest of Thanksgiving weekend passed uneventfully, goofing off and playing games with Justin's family. Once they got back to L.A., it was back to work.

Emily had scenes to shoot. Justin had a project to finish. But as he worked, he kept the conversation they had on Thanksgiving Day tucked away in his head.

Emily told him she had never believed in love but she might be able to with him. On one hand, that was gratifying. He knew better than anyone how her parents' divorce had scarred her and made her never want a serious relationship. That she even gave him a chance at all was somewhat of a miracle.

On the other hand, it made him sad. He needed to work harder so she believed it for good. Even if it took another eight years, if he accomplished nothing else, he would make Emily believe in love.
