157 Amy's Suspicions

Not much happened for the rest of Kaitlyn's visit. They sat around, chatted, played card and video games (though Justin still flatly refused to play Dance Party Fusion), and generally enjoyed each other's company.

Each night that Emily shared his bed he didn't have any bad dreams, or even any dreams at all, and when they woke up she wanted to stay in bed and cuddle a while longer each time. How he was going to go back to sleeping alone after this, he had no idea.

Sam saw them off at the airport. Kaitlyn was on the same flight but had a connector to Chula Vista from L.A. Sam hugged each of them goodbye but when she got to Justin she whispered "don't be afraid of her!" in his ear before letting go and smiling as if she hadn't said a thing. Justin scowled for 0.2 seconds before going back to his usual expression so no one else would notice.
