3 Rosemary : Remembrance

"he's a fine young man . he works so efficiently and doesn't demand a raise in a paycheck. what a guy, Jade, that young fellow is . " a mechanic sipping a cup of tea while making the stranger's car, told him. he was a chatterbox talking to anybody on road.

the town adored Jaden Yang. he is no top tier student in a prestigious institution nor a life of a party kind of guy. he was chill. part-timing. he has the face of a celebrity, his jawline is flawless and could end all model's career but dude just wants to be paid in any way to buy his monthly art supplies. He lives in a mansion with a middle-class mindset unlike his brother, who carelessly uses money, but in a weird way. sometimes he buys clothing from the best brands in the city and secretly donates them and the other times he buys a whole mini theatre for him and himself only. he's quite an oddball.

Jaden has his emotions suppressed and not willing to live at the moment which makes him look workaholic. he burns his engine too much over being independent and not living off his stepfather. all this for the monthly art supplies. He dusts his shirt and goes to an empty room and changes into another clean white cotton shirt. he changes his colours like a chameleon to live in this world. he's been this way since he heard that woman, his step-father's ex-wife gossiped to her mother how much of a burden he and his mother were for her and how he was given similar treatment or more as her own child. her pride was crushed. he was a mere housemaid's kid for her which made her suspect if her husband is really sincere and left the house. he was ashamed of how he had to live through that. he wanted to break through the enclosure. he is contented of the fortunes he made on his own. He peeked at a bracelet with colourful beads reading "friends". He tittered to himself, a small suppressed smile.

" you said you wanted to marry me, but you friend-zoned me at the same time. Azure. I am so eager to know. what kind of person must you be now? are we parallel? I just can't seem to connect to you but if I find you I promise as your grandmother told me back then when you were on a hospital bed holding on to your life and finally coming back to life. she asked me to go far off as the last moment you were with me, if you see me you'll get reminded of that event because I was there too. I was immature. I couldn't understand and was mad as hell. I cursed at that lady till saying that old hag ruined my life but now I get it. you shouldn't see me. that is for you, your mental health. but if I see you I promise I won't come close. I'll leave." he wailed out his sadness and grief. he fell on his knees in the middle of the road. It started to pour down heavily. he still didn't move. vehicles went past by him screaming and honking at him but not a slight motion in his body. eyes red and widened, ripped jeans in front of the retro cafe he works. an umbrella was positioned above his head. he no more felt the cold rain. alarmed, he lifted his head. "Mister you shouldn't be doing this to yourself. get up, please." Sho Rin lectured, glaring at him and when he raised aloft his head that's when her heartbeat fast . she definitely saw him. she's great at recognizing faces. "wasn't he the one in the photos in the box of my belongings in my box? pretty sure he's him." she muttered, surprised, her eyes enlarged looking at him. he was doomed. he was pleased but scared.

"Azure" he accidentally shrieked and put his hands on his mouth and backed off getting up quickly in a panic. "you are-" she moved towards but he got up and ran off to another side of the signal. "sorry wrong person" he mumbled, bowing. "hey you!!" she screamed, running after him but stopped upon seeing the red light. "damn it!" she kicked in the air as she realised she lost him.

"But if he's him what the heck is he restraining for? did I..upset him? that's strange though..we owed to marry and he promised to send me flowers every day since he confessed to me..that's what the letters in the box say. why oh why I have to forget it all" she shoved the rocks with her foot in frustration.

Jade rested behind a tree after three minutes of running, he gasped for air, his face so hysterical that it seemed he was going to pass out.

"Woah look at you all worked out like that. who was after you? let me take a guess..mhm..your lender, who you debt thousands? just move back for dear life. we are not monsters. I don't understand why you despise me so much" Cyan walked towards him slowly with sunglasses resting on his eyes and his wavy hair flowing gracefully with every step he took.

"Your words don't suit your baby face, cyan . and I don't hate you specifically. I just not been fit for that lifestyle. all aren't like you. feeding over privilege. " he gave back.

"ah yeah, same old bull. do you think you can make me buy it? that's why. just shut up. why am I bad for spending my father's money. not like I don't listen to him. I don't rebel against nor I just leave the house without a word. I don't get angry for no reason and abandon my family as some do" he glared at Jaden. He flipped his hair onto his face and walked into his Lamborghini parked not so far and drives to his school.

"look at him being so cocky, that jerk" Jaden scoffed.

Rin was hesitant to get inside as any normal day. she was worried about what she got into. she literally just sold herself. "let me process this quick..." she folded her arms and closed her eyes "so..he asked me to be his partner..hell I haven't ever teamed up for a science project now I have to do this. dating isn't a big deal but for a single girl with no intentions to be in one I have no idea what it's like. maybe there's a magazine for geeks like us. I hope? like 101 tips for sustaining a relationship." she was thinking out loud still standing outside the gates, pressing her feet down tightly anxiously, biting her lips.

"good morning, my honey " cyan tackled her into a hug "what is this?" she coughed struggling to breathe under his wide shoulders, she hit him on his neck "move I'm breathless."

"aw, are you that happy and stun to see me. I'm sorry, dear. I would rush here but look at me, I awaited you" he shouted glancing at a girl, in ironed uniform, lose socks, cute little bangs and hair curled down. she was frowning and hateful looking at the two being so cuddly. she plastered a smile but death glaring Rin.

"what's with her" Rin rolled her eyes "what an attitude"

Cyan looked at the ground "the going- to- be fiance I told you of. " he sighed

"She looks adorable though. why don't you wanna marry her?"

"Looks aren't everything though. she's so much more than that and in a bad way"

He placed his arms around her. "but don't worry. you're all safe in my arms " he grinned.

"no thanks 'my prince ' I'm fine as I am. just care about yourself. " she shook and moved out his touch and walked away.
