For millennia the Sarkaz have only known pain and suffering. Seeing their homeland raised only to be put to the flame by foreign invaders over 1,000 times has left them as nothing but exiles. Only fit to be a rootless people wandering the world of Terra. Such hardship has only left fury and sorrow in the hearts of many as they ask themselves why they deserve such a destiny. However, through a twist of fate, one Sarkaz will see a chance for change. A chance to realize the shared dream of millions of Sarkaz both living and dead. A chance to rebuild their ancient home of Kazdel. In order to seize this opportunity, she will raise her blade and carve a path for her people once more. ******* Hello, the author here. This story is a Yuri fanfic for Arknights so if that does not interest you this story may not be for you. There will only be a single love interest so there is no chance of a harem. As for the romance, it will be a very slow burn. Don't expect any romance aspects until much later in the story. It will come when it comes. This is my first attempt at writing, so if you have any constructive criticism or see any grammar mistakes let me know and I can hopefully improve in the future. Every day I get up at 6:00 am to get ready for school, I leave the house by 7:00 am, I arrive at 7:30 am, I head towards my homeroom, I sit in my assigned seat and study for another 25 minutes until a bell goes off signifying that it is 8:00 am, and now classes have begun. The day goes by and as soon as I know it, lunchtime rolls around at noon, I go to the library and sit down at the usual table that is always open by the window and unpack the meal that my chef has made for me and eat.
