FOUNDATION DAY 7

At last, my most awaiting day happens wherein the kids on the orphanage who's supported by our university will be here later. I love kids and their cuteness, that's why I love being surrounded with kids they are my happy pill. I miss those times when we are just a kid being happy with small things like having our favorite candy. Those times that we didn't have a problem to solve and be peaceful whenever were happy though I've never experience that because since I was a toddler my parents used to enroll me on workshops. As far as I remember, there were only few times when I play by myself before, I never experience to have playmates and having childhood friends because my parents wants me to focus on how can I improve myself. It's the day wherein we are given the chance to take care the kids for a day and to entertain them, to make them happy.

We can take them outside the university and take them back in the university before they'll be back in the orphanage. I love being with the kids because I don't have any sibling aside from ate Loraine that I'll never been close. We only have each other yet I can't remember any moment that we become close even for a few minutes besides it's either she's distant to me or be mad at me for unknown reason. One of the reason, why I want to be close with those kids because I want to make them happy 'coz I know it's one of the rarest time when they are allowing to be outside the orphanage and I want to make it memorable for them. I'm surprise when someone wrap his arm on my shoulder while I'm sitting on the bench here in the garden because I'm busy reading the book of Adventure of Sherlock Holmes while listening to the music.

When I look whose arms is this then I saw Gav smiling at me and he's with our friends whose laughing at my surprise reaction. "Why did you came here so early?" I ask them with full of curiosity. "We're just excited to see those cute kids roaming around here in the campus so I can I pinch their cute cheeks" Miks said while pinching Kev's cheeks cutely. "Ouch, let me go Miks 'coz it hurts so bad" Kev said with a pout at us so Miks let him go with a grin on her face while Kev on the other hand hold his both redden cheeks with a pout. "What time they will arrive here together with the cute kids and the nuns?" Jenny asks with a giggle and full of excitement.

"They will arrive here at 8am and it's still 6:30am. How about we eat breakfast first before going back here?" Kris stated with matching hand gesture. "Yeah, we still haven't eaten breakfast yet. Let's go, Lou" Miks said a pout while holding her tummy and it creates a loud sound that's why we laugh at her cute reaction. We ate again at our favorite coffee shop in front of our university because of their delicious foods and good coffee. After we ate breakfast, we immediately went back to the campus specifically on the gymnasium because the kids will go here directly later. They only have two rule, the first one is we can only take care the kid if they choose us to be with them and the second one is we can bring them outside but we have to bring them back at four in the afternoon. After ten minutes, the kids arrive here happily then they orient us the do's and don'ts while the kids are with us.

After they explain everything, the kids run around the gymnasium to choose who will be with them for this day. Until, one cute little boy went to me and hold my hand to pull me on the booth that selling sweets. I smiled at him and ruffled his hair before I buy a cotton candy for him. After, his done eating his cotton candy I sat down to meet his level to asks what his name then he smiled at me and put his hand on my cheek. "Hello po, I'm Isaac Jimuel Ravena six years old" he said with a smile and count on his finger on how old is he. "How about you ate pretty, what's your name?" he asks and smile widely at me showing his white teeth. "I'm Louise but you can call me ate Lou for short, okay? Where do you want to go? What do you want to eat?" I ask him while playing his cute little fingers.

"I want to go to that booth with toys ate Lou" he said then hold my hand and we went to the booth where you will play to get a stuff toy as a prize. When we reach there, I saw my friends holding kids who's happily playing games. The officers of the student council prepare so much for this yesterday they put a wooden box on the booths so the kids could reach it and they also build the booth selling sweets for kids. It's so overwhelming to see those kids who enjoy playing here and we are the one to pay the fee for the kids. An hour had passed, Isaac went to me saying he wants to eat his ice cream so I bought one for him. After that he said that he wants to play on the playground that's why we walk near the gate to ride a taxi when a van stopped in front of us then a window on the passenger seat roll down. Miks said we should ride with them because we're going on the same destination so we agreed.

We texted the nuns to inform them that we will go out with kids to went on the mall because the school's administration is busy having a meeting with the nuns. When we reach the parking lot the kids excitedly come out on the van too, to went on the mall's playground. We are just guarding them while were having a chitchat because we are afraid they will be lost. They play happily there yet we call them so we can wipe their sweats and change their clothes. We bought clothes for them to use because their clothes are full of sweat then we change their clothes immediately on the comfort room and put a powder on their back. They played for three hours yet they seem so energetic that they're still not tired but we know that they are hungry that's why we ask them where they want to eat. "Kids, where do you want us to eat?" we ask them and they answer in unison. "Mcdo po" they answer in unison that's why we laugh because we know that kids usually like Jollibee than Mcdo.

When we saw mcdo inside the mall, they immediately run inside the fast food holding us in their hands that's why the guys immediately order the food and we are left to take care the kids. After a while the guys arrive holding the trays of food in their hands. The kids eat immediately after we distribute their food however they eat happily and a little bit messy. There's nothing that can measure the joy that we felt every time that we can make the kids happy. We are on the middle of eating our food, when they finish eating their food and stare at us for so long that's why we give them our spaghetti, French fries and sundae. They excitedly accept the food and ate it immediately then after that they ate the food and they thank us.

We bring them on the clothes and toy store so we can buy them some. We are happy when we see their amazement on the toy store because they can't believe that they will see a lot of expensive toys here. We bought a lot of clothes and toys for one of them though they don't want to accept it yet we insist them to accept it because we know they are just shy. Before we went back on the university, we stop by at mcdo to buy happy meal take outs for the kids and then we reach the campus we went directly to the nuns to bring back the kids to them because after a few minutes they will left to be back at the orphanage.

After we bring them back to the nuns, we bid goodbye to those kids and to the nuns then we also said the appreciation to the nuns. We sat down so we can talk to the kids clearly to bid goodbye and tell those advices to them. "We're happy for having an opportunity to be with you kids and to make you happy. There's no one who can beat our happiness that we feel whenever we can make you happy for a short period of time and we will cherish those moments with you guys" Miks said teary eyed while hugging the kids one by one. "I hope we make you happy kids even for a short period of time and we hope you won't forget us" Jenny said while crying and hug the kids. "Don't worry guys, we will visit you on the orphanage whenever we are free, so don't be sad, okay? Always remember that we love you even though we are with you for a day. Always be kind and obedient, huh?" I said while holding back my tears and the boys talk to the kids seriously and ruffled the kid's hair. I think they are counseling the kids that's why they are so serious then we talk to the nuns to say our appreciations to them.

"We want to thank you for giving us a chance to be with the kids" I said with them yet they just smile at us and hold our hands. "We are the one who should say thanks for taking care of the kids earlier, ladies and gentlemen. It's our first time to see them this happy that's why we are so glad that they choose you guys and I can see that you will a good parent to your kids in the near future. Thank you again for the warm welcome to the kids, to all of us, although we have to go. You can visit the kids whenever you want and I hope to see you again, guys" the nun said to said after they make sure that the kids are complete. They rode on the van and wave at us before they go. We watch them go away until we can't see the van because they are far already and we will miss the kids that much.
