APPRECIATE

At last after two days of sickness, I went to the school because I have a lot of homework's to do. For the whole two days all I did is bed rest because they want me to gain a lot of strength. My family are still on the business trip abroad that's why they didn't knew what happen. Besides if ever they knew it and they won't bother to care for me. They just said that maybe I rest all the time that's why I got sick. All of my life, I never remember them to had a concern for me.

In every achievement in my life they never attended on it likes graduation, recognition, and awarding's. While on my sister they never missed any awarding's because they attending all of it. Then, they will make a party for her and there are lots of media to cover it up. We never celebrate my birthday while my elder sister always celebrates it abroad. I admit sometimes I envy her but anger I never felt that for her.

I'm just wondering why is she mad at me even though I didn't do something bad at her. She never treated me as a sister. Yet, I love her as a sister even though whatever treatment she will give at me. Because whatever happens she is still my sister and blood is thicker than water yet it depends on the situation though.

I'm here at the garden in the university doing my home works coz it's my vacant time. I will do it here as long as I can coz there are a lot of homework's that I need to do because of my absences. While doing it I become shock when someone hug me from the back so I look for it and saw it was Miks. She's hugging me while crying that's why I hugged her back and I'm tapping on her back to hush her. "Thank God you're alright now coz we missed you a lot for your two days of absence. Although, we want to visit you but the thing is we don't know what's your address. Were worried because you were absent for two days so we are thinking that why aren't you getting well immediately. That' why you should tell us where do you live" she said and release from our hug to wipe her tears away.

"Actually, when I have a fever it really takes two to three days. It always happens when my body is so tired for a week or more. Then, I took bath thinking I'll be refresh so unexpectedly I got sick coz that morning my body aches all over and weak" I said and smile shyly. I looked around to search if Kris is with them. When I saw him, I come near him and give a thank you gift. "Thank you very much for sending a lot of things in our home while I'm sick. I really appreciate it so here is my thank you gift" I said with a smile.

He looked at the paper bag for a few seconds before accepting it. "Thank you for this and for appreciating my effort" he said coolly. "So you knew all along her address?" Miks asked while glaring at her brother. "Yes, I thought you guys knew about it so I didn't tell you" he answered casually. They just sighed with his answer and he lift the cookie jar inside the paper bag. "Wow, cookies in jar" Kev said amused. "Can I have one, cuz?" Jenny asked Kris while she's trying to catch for the cookie jar. "No, this is only mine. Is this homemade?" he said and looked at me curiously. "Yes, I baked it and I hope you will like it" I said and smile shyly.

For the others I give each one of them a Tupperware with cookies in it. "Yown, I thought that you only made cookies for Kris. I'm happy that you remember to give us" Arch said and thanked me. "You are so unfair Lou, you gave him cookies in jar while you give us cookies in Tupperware" Gav said and pout at me.

After my vacant they walked me on my next class while Kris and Gav carry my things. They fetch me in my room on the lunch time so we can go to the cafeteria together. When we reach the cafeteria, the boys ordered food immediately while the three of us looked for the vacant table. After a few things they came back carrying a tray of foods and put in on the table. "Lou here's the vegetables, you should eat vegetables so you won't get sick again" Jenny said while putting vegetables on my plate.

"You should eat fruits, too" Gio said and put a plate of fruit salad beside in front of me. "You also need iron so here's the fish" Kev said and put the fish on my plate. "So for calcium you need milk, here it is" Miks said and put a can of milk besides my plate. "Can you guys stop it because Lou can't eat properly for doing that. Look at her plate she just ate a little because you're always disturbing her by giving something" Gav said at them so I just smile shyly.

The day past by and they showed how I matter at them by showing a worry and taking care of me. They said that they're just doing this so I won't get sick again for three days. Although, sometimes their action seems over reacting like carrying all my things so I won't get sick again. Even though I don't want them to do that yet they insist to do it. But, I'm thankful for them for showing concern to me.

We went together on the parking lot until in front of our car. Before they went to their car Kris give me a paper bag. I hesitantly accept it coz he will insist it if I don't accept it. "Thanks" I said with a smile. "Were going to go, Lou. Bye, see you tomorrow" Miks said and hug me. Jenny hugged me too before they went away.

I look inside the paper bag to see what's inside then I saw one pack of yakult and one dozens of non-fat milks in can. For two days he sent a lot of things for me. He sent twice a bouquet of blue roses and meds. Every meal time he sent foods and snacks. That's why I'm shy that I only give cookies to him.

Then now, he gave yakults and non-fat milks to me. Although, it seems weird coz it looks like we are exchanging gifts. I'm thinking if I will give him muffins tomorrow as a thank you gift for the yakults and milks. When I reach home, I went to the kitchen area to check if there are ingredients left for the muffins. Then, I saw that there is a lot of ingredients so I baked 4 boxes of muffins. Two boxes of muffins will be given to Kris and the other two boxes are for our group of friends.

After doing all of my task I decided to rest so I lay down to bed hugging the Pikachu stuff toy. Now, I must say that I'm contented for what I have now. I hope that the future days, weeks, and months I will still be happy.
