9 WE'RE FAMILY

"I trusted you, " Jake said glaring at Naira.

"What're you glaring at I didn't do anything wrong" she crosses her hand and smirked without showing any guilt.

"Are you fucking kidding me? you just tried to kill my mother" Aaron said out of anger

"Mother? Now, who is kidding ?" Naira mock him

Aaron couldn't take it anymore and grabbing her hand, he started dragging her out.

"Aaron!" Jake yelled

"What father.. this women need to know her place," Aaron said glaring at Naira.

Naira knows very well that Jake will never harm her.

"I know that's why I am gonna hand her over to the police," Jake said expressionlessly.

After hearing what Jake just said Naira, her face turned blank, "What? Now you'll treat me like shit because of those bitches"

"NAIRA!!" Jake yelled at her out of anger

"What? Are you insane? You're not even married to her and still treating that hoe like your wife and yeah ..that bitch like your daughter... " Naira was about to say more but suddenly Jake slapped her. She was so shocked by his move that she fell on the ground.

"It doesn't matter to me, We're family that's it and I don't need to explain to you more" Jake was so angry that he just couldn't control his hand and slapped her. He turned his back and look towards Aaron and said, "Aaron just call the police they will handle this women".

After hearing his father's words he immediately dialed the police number but at the moment he was about to call.

Suddenly Naira starts begging, after seeing Jake's reaction she was lost "NO! NO! you can't do this to me, Please don't do this my life will get destroyed"

Jake didn't respond After seeing that he's completely ignoring her, she started crying louder "Jake you know I love you that's why I did all this, But if you really don't want to see me, I'll never come in front of you again, But please don't call police at least for old times sake. Please!"

After a while, Jake finally said "Okay ... I'll let you go for old time sake but don't show me your face ever again and don't try to harm my 'FAMILY' again because next time I'll make you regret if you tried to do something"

After that Naira gets up from the floor and leaves that place. Jake and Aaron stand at the same place for a moment then Jake left the room for getting some fresh air but suddenly he heard someone sobbing sound from behind the wall.

Sera who was so shocked after listening that her father and mother were not married, she knew that Jake really get a hard time in convincing her mother because she still thinks that her real father will come for them one day but it never happened, so she just let him borrow the title only. She was young at that time so she didn't pay more attention to their marriage.

And he was still treating them like a family? Even Aaron whatever he did to her but he still stands for her mother like a family. she sat on the floor and dig her head in her knees. She won't know what she was feeling right now but she felt deceived, lied, and unconditional love from her father. But suddenly someone pat on her head. when she looks towards the way, she saw her father standing in front of her. She just hugged him and said, "Why didn't tell me about this ?"

Jake sighed and said "I don't want you to think me any less from father just because we are not married it doesn't mean you can't call me father, so we decided to hide this"

"But still...."

"Hush ... nothing matters me because we are a family " hearing this Sera can't help but cry even more their her biological father who left her, and here this man who still wants to treat her like a daughter without anything in return.

Aaron who was just watching the scene and smiled and join the hug, this time Sera didn't feel anything from him. It was just a pure hug which makes her feel strong. She cleared up her mind and start trusting on them even more.

"Yes we're family," She said smiling purely at both of them.

After that, she left for her mother's room and took some things from her.

Jake asked her "Where did you take her?... I know you are upset from whatever happened but you can't take care of her all alone"

"Father, you don't need to worry.. she is in Royal hospital my friend is there and she knows everyone there so it's easy, and most importantly she's is best in the medical field so she will take care of mother" Sera replied with a smile

"Then it's okay but if you need anything then just tell me" Jake smiled

"Of course I need to leave now" Sera smiled and left.

She put all the things in the back of the car and drove off. She tried to call Rexy twice and even thrice but she wasn't picking.

Parking her car in the parking area of Royal hospital, she went in it was already 8 at night. She took things and start walking toward her mother's room. She was just thinking how worst and tiring the day it was that she saw Rexy sleeping on the couch in her mother's room and when she turned her gaze she saw Ran sitting and sleeping beside her mother. She can't help but smile and feel glad to have friends like them.

After putting all the things on the table, she put a blanket on both of them and then take a glance at her mother. She walks towards the window. The moment moonlights lay down on her face, her skin glowed like a diamond and making her look more beautiful.

She stands there for a while and then calls someone "The women I text you about did you find out who was she? "

"Yes, she wasn't some normal women," the man on another side said

"What do you mean ?" Sera speak slowly so that Rexy and Ran wouldn't wake up.

"She was living with a fake I'd and she wasn't even any doctor or nurse". After hearing what he said she ends the call.

"So you think it is easy to mess with me, I'll make you regret" She mumbled.
