7 NOT ANYMORE

"Young master someone leaves this bag for you," a maid told him.

He didn't wait a bit and get his hand on the bag and get back to his table. Seeing his fast moves, even that maid gets shocked and can't help but be curious... is it something that important that master didn't even take a second to get his hand on it.

Seeing the lady was still standing there, he told her to leave before opening the bag. He was surprised when Ran called her after a quite long time. He saw that blood sample and a bottle of medicine and start examining them without even caring about the time. He has his own laboratory in his house which wasn't surprising for someone like him.

He examined the things and when he got the result, he frowned and asked himself "what are you up to this time Ran?"

Suddenly another lady come inside his laboratory and asked "What are you doing at this hour?" she was half yawning.

"Oh.. Mother, I am sorry did I wake you up?" He noticed it was three in the morning and immediately apologized. He just gets too carried away with his work that he didn't see the clock.

"It's okay, just go and rest already... you don't care about your health just get married already if you do care about me". she yawns in sleep.

He just smiled and look towards the result papers he was holding. "Mother just goes and sleep, I am done with my work". She knows after her husband's death, he gives up everything and focused on their business only, she doesn't know she should be proud of him or be sad that he now can't even have a break for a while.

But still, she just takes a glance at her beloved son and pats his head then walks towards her room. When she left, he took those results and send them to Ran, it was late so he decided to just leave her a text "call me when you wake up" and not break her beauty sleep.

But just after he sends those results, he got a call from her. He was surprised that she was awake and said "Don't you know, the night is for sleeping"

But Ran was so worried about the results that she just couldn't sleep and said in a straight tone "It means those medicines were the Propofol only and were just put in the normal bottle so that no one can catch that..."

She was about to continue but Aiden speaks up "Yes and when I examine those blood sample it turns out to be that the person is getting an overdose of propofol which can lead to death also"

Hearing the word death Ran suddenly flinch and thinks in her mind why is she doing this... Did her stepfather know about this ? .. Hearing no response from her he asked "whose blood sample were those?"

She said angrily "Someone special" after that she ended the call. And start thinking why she is doing this? what she will get from this?. There were lots of thoughts going around in her mind but they just make her angrier.

But on the other side, When he sees that she had already ended the call without even saying thanks or goodbye to him, he sighed and stared at her phone screen and said to himself "Why the hell I fall for you" There was a beautiful photo of Ran smiling on his phone screen then he just turns his head and walk towards the window and look towards the sun which was about to rise and said "why the hell I will not fall for you?" and smiled.

Ran didn't wait for a second in the morning and went straight to St. High. She tries to call Rexy a hundred times but she didn't pick up. She searches for them everywhere but she just can't find them. But then she saw two familiar figures near the entrance and when she walks towards them she sighed that it was Sera and Rexy. She runs towards them and grab Sera's hand and started panting heavily. Sera was surprised seeing someone grabbed her hand and when she saw that it was Ran and she was breathing so heavily. She said in concern " What happens to you and what are you doing here?"

Rexy was about to say something but Ran immediately give her those results sheets. Rexy gets shocked and when she saw those reports then she was so shocked that she just stared at Sera.

Seeing Rexy staring at her and Ran like this she can't help but feel annoyed and said "Will anyone tells me what's going on ?"

Then Rexy finally spoke up "These are your mother reports ". Sera flinched and snatch those reports and said, "what are you talking about?"

When she saw those reports, she didn't utter a word for a while. Finally, Ran spoke up, "Your mother is being drugged, that's why her body is so weak, and if we didn't stop it can lead to. ... "

Ran didn't continue and look towards Rexy who was red in anger. Sera suddenly said in a really scary tone, "Rexy can I borrow your car for a while". Her eyes turned red in anger seeing this Rexy didn't wait for a second and give her the keys.

Sera said, "I'll see you guys later". Rexy and Ran followed her to the car and said together "No we're coming with you".

Seeing her friends worried she smiled and said "I know you guys are worried but this is somehow my fault that I didn't take care of my mother well. So please understand". After hearing that they didn't say anything and just told her "call us if you need anything".

Then she drove off, Her eyes were burning in anger and she just wants to cut off her throat. She blames herself that why didn't she look in deep about her mother and tears started to roll down her cheeks. And she can't help it but blame herself more for what is happening to her mother is partially her fault, if she didn't leave her alone here. Then nothing would have happened to her but she was weak, She was afraid to face her fears that's why she runs away from every situation.

"BUT NOT ANYMORE," she said.

Now, she's not gonna run away because she knows very well that it will make it worse only. Now she will face everything.
