11 CAN THINGS CHANGE?

Rexy opened her eyes everything was blurry, suddenly she felt a headache. She groaned in pain "Ahh"

Ran come up with a glass and some medicines and told her to have them. Rexy suddenly remembered that she drinks too much last night. When she finally comes to her senses she saw Ran in fresh clothes and all cheer up for some reason she makes her feel even sicker.

"Who the hell can be so cheerful in the morning?" she said in her mind and lay back on the couch again.

"It's already 10 in the morning"

"WHAT?" Rexy wasn't paying attention to her but when she heard that her sleep suddenly vanished away. She looked around for Sera, Ran already get the idea for what she was looking for.

"She already went home and she'll meet you in college directly" Ran said when she was seeing some reports.

Rexy quickly gets her keys and curses herself for drinking too much.

Rexy gets out of the room and runs towards the elevator. She knew she will be fucked up if she didn't reach home on time.

"Sera, are you home?"

Sera was about to leave for her way to college but her father stopped her.

"Yes, I was just about to leave"

"Oh, then talk to me when you get free" Jake said politely

"Actually I'll be staying with mother at night so I'll be back tomorrow morning," Sera said while picking up her books.

"Okay, then do you have two minutes," Jake asked

"Sure, father" Sera smiled and followed him to the living room.

"Listen, Sera there's a party my partner is throwing on his son's birthday, but I'll be late due to the meeting... so do you have time to attend it," Jake asked raising his eyebrows

"but-" Sera was about to clearly deny that, she really not like going in parties.

"Sera I know you're busy but please I don't want Aaron to mess things up so I want you to go with him," Jake said again but this time he wasn't asking her.

Sera hesitate for a while after hearing Aaron's name but then she just nodded, After what happened yesterday she started thinking that maybe Aaron is changing.

"That's my girl, the party is tomorrow and I already told Aaron about this... and behave properly," Jake said after a pause.

After that she left for the college on the whole way she keeps regretting, she should have just refused but she just couldn't. On the other side, thinking about Aaron gives her another headache.

"SERA! SERA!!"

someone grabbed her wrist "SERA!!!!!!!!"

She was startled seeing Rexy here, "You're really something, everyone heard me yelling except you," Rexy said while heavily breathing.

Sera was really in deep thoughts that she really didn't hear anything. But she just smiled to cover up everything.

"Why are you smiling now?" Rexy said while fixing her hair.

Sera takes her smile back and felt like an idiot then they both walk towards their class but suddenly something caught Rexy's attention.

She suddenly dragged Sera into the crowd, Sera really hate crowds and want to push everyone aside. She just unreleased her wrist from Rexy grip and walked out from the crowd.

Rexy saw her leaving and after seeing everything. She runs back to her "Oh come on! Sorry"

Sera really felt annoying so she changed the topic "What was that for?"

Seeing her annoyed face, Rexy said with a smile "Oh, I just want to see why is there so much crowd on notice board".

Sera rolled her eyes upward and asked "What did you get them?"

Rexy was a bit surprised because Sera is one of those people in the world who will don't give a crap about others even if that person is a celebrity or president, she just doesn't care.

"Oh, it was about fresher's party," Rexy said making an awful face,

"I thought it will still take time, you should be happy that you will meet Rohan" Sera said while scrolling on her phone.

"It's on 13," Rexy said ignoring her rest of the talks.

"Oh, we still got three days then," Sera noticed that Rexy ignore the Rohan thing but she didn't push it, she knows them very well they fight a lot and makeup in a blink.

After attending lectures,

"I am starving like hell," Rexy said

It's nothing new for Sera, Rexy says this every time even in high school, lectures were like sleeping pills for her and after lectures, she needs food just like a panda. She really is similar to a panda tho.

"Okay, but first I need to check on mother then we can," Sera said

Ran was just adjusting drips when Sera and Rexy barged in. Sera was surprised seeing Ran here "When did you arrive?".

"I ... I didn't go to universit- " Ran said hesitantly.

"Look, Ran I appreciate your help but at least don't make yourself suffer.. don't skip lectures," Sera said without listening to her further

Ran smiled, after a very long time she was hearing her nagging just like she used to do in high school when she tries to skip classes.

"I have talked to the professor for the transfer here and in simple words, I will get practical classes here....and I can take care of your mother as well" Ran said after a pause and smiled.

Sera really know why she did that but her smile makes her weak every time and if she will get her lessons then it is not a problem she thought in her mind.

Meanwhile, when they both were talking Rexy was enjoying eating Ran's snacks that she bought for herself. And when finally Ran realize that her snacks are in danger it was too late.

She started whining for her snacks. Rexy didn't even care and even ate the last bite shamelessly.

Sera smiled seeing both of them fighting for snacks. "Okay let's go to eat something my treat"

Ran and Rexy's eyes suddenly sparkled and they looked at her like an obedient dog.
