1581 Tianqing….

Wen Ting Hua along with his soldiers were in the middle of the jungle.

"I think I saw one." Wen Ting Hua's first in command Yang Feng who was also a member of the royal court said, "Your highness, would you like to go see it?"

Wen Ting Hua got off his horse. And as soon as he got off Yang Feng got off his horse. He was wearing a black button up shirt with a black long coat.

A sword was hung on his right side which he had grabbed in his hand. His eyes, searching for his hunt. Everything about him screamed danger and authority.

One of the soldiers came near him and gave him his bow. He pulled out an arrow from the quiver which he was already wearing.

After setting them he stepped forward and went towards the left side of the jungle.

No one followed him and all just stood there in their places.

Wen Ting Hua was now a little away from his soldiers. He was walking cautiously when suddenly he saw the deer and as soon as he saw it, he took an aim towards the deer.

The deer was eating grass peacefully and Wen Ting Hua knew it was his time. He shot the arrow, it went straight towards the deer and hit him. But as soon as the arrow touched the deer, a puff sound was heard and the deer just vanished from the place.

He saw black smoke in that place where there was a deer a minute ago. He stepped forward towards it and when the black smoke lessened down a little he saw a black stone there.

Bending down he kept his bow on the floor. He was just about to touch the stone when all of a sudden it started rolling.

He again stood up from the floor and saw the stone rolling on to the other side.

The stone stopped in front of a tree and again a puff sound was heard. An old man just popped out of that stone and now was sitting beside the tree.

He had a long grey beard and a long stick in his hand with a cape which was covering him all. He was looking down but when Wen Ting Hua started walking towards him he held his head up a little.

He gave him a smile before saying, "What's the use of all this?"

He was taken back a little when he heard the old man but then asked, "What do you mean?"

The old man suddenly got up and started finding something, "I mean to say, don't be foolish you young man."

"How dare you?" He didn't even let him finish his sentence when he suddenly appeared in front of him and put his shaft on his mouth, "Shush."

Wen Ting Hua's eyes widened.

"A girl…." The old man put his one hand in the sky like he was showing him something.

Wen Ting Hua looked at the place where he was pointing before pushing that shaft away from his mouth, "Will you stop this nonsense of yours and tell me already what you mean old man? I am tired of your nonsense all the time."

"A girl." The old man continued saying and again held his hand up, "A girl with red hair, kind as she is, lucky as she is. She will be saving this kingdom."

"Who is she?"

The old man again looked down and replied, "I don't know."

"Then who knows? Again with this nonsense."

He was getting angry now at that old man who always comes to him but never talks straight.

"Young man, I can show you the path but can't tell you where that path is."

"There are so many red haired girls, how am I supposed to find her?"

The old man again came near him, he put his finger on his heart and said, "Your heart….." He moved his eyes to the side, "Your heart will take you to her. You two are destined to be together. But how, when, where, for how long, no one knows this."

Wen Ting Hua looked down like he was thinking something.

"You need to make that girl yours before someone else does. Once she becomes someone else's demon inside you will come out and he will destroy this whole kingdom by his own hands."

The old man waved his shaft in the sky and then again hit Wen Ting Hua's head with it.

"Find her, only she can calm your devil. She is the cure, the saver, the lover of your world."

The old man was serious when he was telling all this to him but once he was done, he again started to find something.

He was looking here and there while Wen Ting Hua was deep in his thoughts.

"I can sense the devil inside you getting restless. He is fighting to come out. You must learn how to control him before he comes out. Once he gets control over you. You will lose yourself."

"I will never let this happen. I will find that girl."

"Good. But remember one thing the troubles won't be over once you get her. They are just going to start but once you get her you will be able to overcome all the problems."

Wen Ting Hua nodded his head a little. He was about to say something else but he was cut off by that old man, "Okay. Time to leave now."

"What? No. I still have many things to ask you."

The old man didn't bother his words and started waving his shaft in circles in the sky. Soon a magical light appeared around his shaft.

"No stop." Before he could even stop him he just vanished into thin air.

"Stupid old man."

He was annoyed because of that old man's behaviour.

Looking at the sky, he stared at it for some time with the thought of that red haired girl which that old man told him about.

He said in a little voice, "I think….. I need to find that girl…..."
