Her Demise

I do a lot of thinking before I go to sleep. I play scenes in my head. I practice the things I want to say. I have endless "What if's" I make plans for the next day. I think of all the people I miss. I think of all the ones I hate. I ask myself a lot of questions before I go to sleep...... The day they came was the day my life, as I knew it, ended. No one knew who, or what they were nor where they came from. Though It's been said that they came out of thin air, just appearing in the skies in the blink of an eye. We resorted to calling them demons because of their brutal ways of killing, and just like that humans were pushed to the edge of extinction.
