1 CHAPTER-1 THE BEGINNING

Beep Beep Beep...

Waking up I turned off the alarm. The sunlight is beaming the room, making it brighter. I stood up from the bed and walked through my sliding window into the balcony. I was always the nature person. Sun was shining bright, the weather was warm, closing my eyes I enjoyed the cool breeze hitting my face. And then my moment was ruined by my one and only MOM.

"Hailey are you awake?" mom shouted from the stairs."Yes, mom" I yelled back. Then my door opened with a great force that it hit the wall. I am sure there was a bent on the wall. "Geez mom, calm down. What's the hustle?" I said.

"You forgot? Oh my god how can you forget today?" mom yelled at me. "First calm down, and what's today is it my birthday?" I mumbled the last part thinking what day is today. "No honey it's your trip today and you are so late" mom said. "Holy shit! I totally forgot about it shit! Shit!" I blurted out. "Language lady!" mom said. "Sorry, but I don't have time" l said running to the bathroom to shower quickly.

After the shower I ran in my room and changed into the outfit that I chose. Black jeans with a black fitted shirt and a black leather jacket. That's right I am one of those whose favorite color is black. Taking my suitcase I ran downstairs. Where my family was enjoying breakfast.

"Morning everyone" I said happily. Everyone replied back with Good Morning smile plastered to their face. The twins Alison and Tyler were as usual fighting for the pancakes, and the youngest one Kevin he was 10 years old and was smiling at everyone.

My phone rang telling me someone was calling me. It was my friend Lauren. "Hey, Lauren" I said answering the call. "Hal, you need to hurry we will miss the flight "Lauren said from the other side of the phone. "Okay I'll be there in 10" I said hurrying towards the door. "Guys I'm leaving" I shouted from the door. "Hal wait!!" I heard Kevin calling me. Oh shit I said in my head how can I forget that. Running back in the house I kissed Kevin who was on the verge of crying. "Kev don't cry I'll be back soon I promise" I said "Promise?" "Yes Kev" I said smiling at him. He hugged me and said "Bye Hal. Come back soon" I moved towards my mom and hugged her then my I hugged my dad. "You know I wouldn't have allowed you if it was not your senior year?" dad said "Of course you are the best dad" I said chuckling. I moved towards the twins and enveloped them into a hug. "Oh Hal leave us. We can't breathe" they said in unison. I smiled and ruffled their hairs "Bye guys". Now it's time for the trip I said excitedly to me.
