CHAPTER 51

Arriving at the company, Skai settled in her seat and fixed up her desk before beginning any work. 

Her eyes felt weary. Her brain, which had been tasked with too much the previous day felt like shutting down on her. 

She drew her nose. The simple action reminded her of a situation and someone. Immediately, the thought of Yasmin raced through her mind. With no second to lose, she took out her phone from her back and sent her a text on WhatsApp. 

Seconds passed, and there was no reply. 

'Hmm, perhaps she is not with her phone? Sigh, but I need to find out if she is okay or not.' 

Skai tapped on the dial icon and waited for Yasmin to pick up. 

Brrrh! Brrrh!

Seconds passed with no response. 

She went back to chat, left messages asking about her health and date last night before dropping her phone.
