8 Chapter 8. The Tour Plus the Basketball
CD's POV
"Wow! I never thought that Capiz is so amazing and beautiful!" Liam said
I secretly smiled and for the first time, a boy didn't question me if there were ghosts and vampires here in Capiz. I'm really proud that I am from here. We're here now in Robinsons Mall. It's 3:23 in the afternoon. We started our tour 5:00 in the morning, I thought they will get tired, but it seemed that they were enjoying. I think they slept well last night because they were full of energy. I couldn't see tired face on their face.
"Ielle, can we go back here?" LDF asked. We're in one of the fastfood chains and waiting for our order.
"Of course! Anytime LDF" I replied
"But, I want to stay in your place Ielle, I want to see your dream house" LDF
"Dream House? Wow! I didn't build my dream house yet, I'm saving more money" Liam said
I just smiled.
"Is that JK?" Liam
When I heard his name, my heart beat stopped. Lord, I don't want to see him.
"Where?" LDF asked
"At the counter. Hey! Palanca!" Liam shouted.
I didn't see them because the counter was behind my back.
"Hey Chan, Bok! What are you doing here?" he asked. He didn't noticed me.
"Obviously Bok, we're going to eat" LDF
"Haha! Crazy man! Are you two..."
"What?" Liam
"Dating? Pfffft! Hahaha" JK teased the two guys
"Fuck you Palanca! We are with CD. Are you blind?" Liam said then, he shook his head. He knew my real name and initials, he asked me earlier why LDF was calling me Ielle since LDF introduced me as Chain to them. He was a talkative boy! I want to rolled my eyes, but they were friends of LDF, I should be nice, right?
JK didn't speak. He looked at me and I looked at him, of course I looked at him with a poker face and cold eyes. Why? He doesn't deserve my smile. I will never smile at him!
"Hi CD! How are you?" Michaela broke the silence. So, she knew my initials too, I bet he asked JK about me.
I slightly smiled. "I am fine. You?"
"I'm fine too" she smiled
"Palanca, you can join us if you want, there are no vacant seats" Liam
My God Liam! Are you numb? I am not comfortable with them. I want to go home so badly, I know Roxas City is a small place, but there were three big malls here in Roxas, but why they chose this one? Damn it!
Michalela looked around and,
"Yes Honey. Liam is right, there are no vacant seats" Michaela
Sht! I'm gonna kill you Liam! You're such a mood killer.
"Okay Hon, as if I have a choice" he said and they occupied the vacant seats
Duh! Of course, you have a choice Mr.Palanca, you can say to your girlfriend that you will gonna wait for vacant table. Where's his brain? Like Duh. I want really to roll my eyes, but I can't. Argh!
"Is it okay with you CD?" Liam asked.
Wow! Just like I can say no Liam when they already sat down. Where's your mind? Argh! I want to say that to him, but I can't. Patience, please wave at me longer.
"Of course Liam" I smiled
I cursed silently.
"Hahahahaha!" LDF laughed. He couldn't contain his laughter. I sighed again.
"What's funny Bok?" JL asked
"Ha?" LDF was shocked and laughed again. "Nothing. I just remembered a funny thing" LDF answered
I rolled my eyes to LDF. Sorry, but I can't stop rolling my eyes.
"You're such one of a kind Sta. Maria! You'te thinking that while we're here in Mall" Liam
"Hahaha! Of course" he said while looking at me
Ah. You're playing with me LDF ha? Just wait for your prize now! I stomp my feet on his feet too
"Ouch!!!" he shouted while his right hand is on his right foot.
"Why Bok? Are you okay?" JK asked again
"I-I am okay Bok. I- It just that, ah.. ah.. an ant bite my foot. Y-yes! Right! An ant bite my foot"
Hahahaha. Sht! I looked down. I bit my lip and trying not to laugh. What a lame reason LDF! What happened? I just kick his foot. He deserved it.

When our order arrived, I started to eat. I'm so hungry.
"CD" I looked at Liam while I'm chewing.
"Yes?" I said
"Ah. Eh. Can we wait their order?"
Liam pointed Michaela and him.
"O-Oh. I am sorry" I fake a smile.
Tss! I felt that my cheeks were hot. I felt shy. I saw LDF smiled. He knows that I'm too hungry.
"By the way CD sorry for asking this, why is it that you're always wearing big eye glasses? You look familiar" Michaela ask.
Oh my! Sht! She knows me? Sht! Don't panic Chea! Don't!
"A-Ah. It's part of my fashion Michaela. I love collecting glasses" I said and forced a smile.
"Ah. Okay"
And then finally, their order arrived and we ate.

"Where are we going now?" I asked them while walking here in mall, some people looking at us because of the boys, they catching attention from the people. They looked hot and tall and here I am, just like a short kid.
"Hmm. Arcade!" Liam said excitedly.
"Okay. Let's go to second floor" I said
"Wait, how about you Palanca?" Liam
"Honey, can we go with them? Please? I wanna play too" Michaela
Say no.
"Okay Honey"
Oh my Gosh! I thought, this day will be a happy day but I was wrong.
We went to second floor and we played. I am also aware that he' s wearing his disguise outfit too. Remember, he is a PBA player, according to Tita P.
"CD?" Michaela
"Yes?" We're here watching the three boys playing race car on a big screen with manual maneuver
"Do you play basketball?" Michaela
"Hmm. A little bit"
"So, can we play? Its kinda unfair to us, they are enjoying but look at us, we're watching"
Tss! Okay. Maybe she will hate me if I reject her offer. She seemed like a good girl, I guess. Some girls if they found out that their boyfriends joined the dating app and they met again, they usually bitching the girl, but Michaela didn't do anything yet to me.
"Sure"
We bought tokens and we went to the Shooter. There's only one vacant shooter machine but we took it so we can play.
"Let's play!" Michaela said and she put the token inside and played.
Wow! She's amazing! She beat the top score. She got a score of 150points and I didn't noticed that many people were watching her.
She smiled at me.
"It's your turn CD"
"Maybe next time Michaela, many people looking at us now" I said
"Don't mind them CD. Please?"
I sighed. I take baclkwhat I said. I just felt that she's showing off her skills to prove that she was too great than me, but I will not give that satisfaction to her.
"Okay"
"Great!" she said happily.
I smirked. I dropped the token and started to play. I threw the ball continueosly to the ring. I was not watching the score, I'm busy thinking about why we met again. I'm done with him and what if we didn't met today, am I enjoying this day? Of course, I was supposedly to enjoy this day with my long distance friend.
After the game, I heard clapping and cheering of people. I looked back and my eyes widened. oh my God! If the people earlier were many, then this time, I think it tripled the number of people and the three boys were there.
Sht! I hate attention!
"Wow CD! You beat my score. You got 203"
I looked my score on a scoreboard and Michaela was right.
I just smiled.
"Ah. Michaela, can I go out for a while?" I asked her nicely because I was not really comfortable with the attention of the people right now, I mean I was not like this if my supporters came to my book signing, I was so comfortable with that, but this, no! I was not!
"O-oh sure"
"Excuse me" I said and I went out in arcade.
"Hey CD!" Liam call me.
I looked back.
"What?" I asked annoyed. I'm really annoyed, I hate myself for being this, I should be getting used this way, but again I hate attention.
"Wooo! Easy CD! I'm just giving Sta. Maria's phone to you. He told me if you can hold it until we finish our game"
"Okay. Give me his damn phone!" I said in an irrated voice
He gave it to me but before he go back inside,
"By the way Chain, you're good in shooting. I'm starting to like you" and then he ran.
My jaw dropped. W-what? H-he starting to like me? What the hell?! I felt my cheek was hot.

I'm here outside of the arcade waiting for them when someone talked to me.
"Excuse me Miss" I looked at him
"Yes?" I said frowning
"Can I ask you?"
"You're already asking me" Yes, I am brat. No doubt.
He laughed. "Okay. You're the one who played in the shooter machine, right?"
"You know it already, then why are you asking me?"
"Oh. Hard to get girl" he said
"Oh. Thank you" I said smiling. I saw Liam, LDF, Michaela and him watching us.
"Well, I like you. Can I get your number?" he asked while looking at me, and then he looked at the right side where boys were standing near in a perfume shop.
Okay. I know it.
"Give me your damn phone" I said
He gave me his phone and I dialled the number. I gave it back to him.
"Thanks! What's your name?"
"CD"
"Thanks again CD, I'll call you later"
"Sure" Then the boy left and they went to me.
"What was that Ielle? Did you give your number?" LDF asked
"Of course not"
"I saw it with my two eyes Ielle! You gave your number!" LDF was so mad and looked at me like he would eat me alive. Whoaaa!
"Promise! I didn't give my number. I forgot to bring my phone. Stupid! Tss" I said and rolled my eyes
"Then, whose number you gave him?" he asked me frowning.
I smiled. "Your number" I said while I showed his phone in the air in front of him
"What the hell Eille?!" He was shocked
I laugh out loud, his face was so pricelsss. I couldn't stop laughing. Damn!
"Did you laugh CD?" Liam
I stopped from laughing.
"Ielle! Why did you do that?! You know what? There are lots of unknown number on my phone because of you!" I felt his hatred towards me because of giving his number. Yeah, I always do that, he's always mad at me when I was so bad to other boys, he told me to be nice, then I decided to be nice in a way of giving his number to all the boys who wanted my number.
"Sorry LDF, that's the way I think is right. You told me to be nice in boys, then I'm trying here" I said while smiling
"But don't give my number LDF!"
I smiled again. "Sorry LDF, I know their playing with me. Look at them, the one who approached me have money on his hands" I shook my head. They were playing games again. Oh I'm sorry, but I'm not a stupid girl.
"CD, how did you know that they're playing games?" Michaela asked
"Because I'm too used to it Michaela"
"Ah. Okay. By the way CD, I'm going home tomorrow. It's nice meeting you. I enjoyed playing basketball with you"
I thought she would stay longer here and I don't really care at all. Oh damn! I'm so bad.
"You're welcome Michaela" I said and gave her my genuine smile, I guess she's still nice.
"Chea?"
I turned around when someone's calling my name. A man went to me.
"Excuse me?" I said while frowning
"I'm Jonel. Do you still remember me?"
Jonel? That name was so familiar and the memories popped up on my mind.
"Oh! Hi Jonel! How are you?" I asked him and looked to LDF, then I looked back to Jonel
"I'm just fine. You're pretty now Chea"
"Really? Thank you!" I smiled. I want to rolled my eyes, but I can't.
"Can I get your number? You know, if you have time, we can hang out together" he asked and I was like, what the hell was happening?
I cleared my throat and answered.
"Ah. I'm really sorry JP, I forgot to bring my phone, maybe you can chat me on facebook" I answered
"O-oh. Okay. I will chat you later. Bye!" Jonel said and left.
LDF went to me "Is he the one who didn't love you back because of your fashion style when you were in college?"
I nodded.
"Ohh? Then, he asking you to go out? Tsk. Tsk! Then, you're gonna accept his offer?"
"Of course not! I'm not going out with pathetic people, and past is past LDF"
I saw JK in my peripheral view. He's just looking at me. Its like that he's observing my action.
