MC suddenly came out if his stupor and he started greeting Lily.

"Ms. Jones, it's my honor to have personally met you, you are an inspiration to the younger generation in our country. This is the first time people will see you, what are your thoughts over this?"

Lily looked at him and said in a pure professional tone, "Thank you, but rather than me it's my team that deserves the praise, they made me stand here today."

"Well, now we all can see why Comida Corp. is reaching new heights day by day, they've got a tremendous leader. But I would like to ask you why you never came infront of people before?"

MC gathered all his courage and asked the most awaited question.

" I guess everyone's already aware about that, I had some health issues which prohibited me from attending any functions, but now I'm fine and here ".

MC knew it won't be easy to get the answer he wanted, but anyway she wouldn't be lily if she would yield to his questions so easily.

" Ms. Jones, there is also one more Jones family attending the function today, by any chance are you related? MC asked, along with him, many wanted to ask this as soon as they saw the Jones family earlier.

" No", was the only reply they got.

Then he moved to ask another question," Ms. Jones you are attending this function with.. "

" My mother", lily responded even before he could complete his sentence.

Before he could ask any further, Noah came forward and said, " I think we shouldn't keep other people waiting to meet with our beautiful Ms. Jones".

He left no room for further questions and with a smile he led the three beautiful ladies towards the hall. The news about Lily reached the curious ears present in the hall, and as soon as she entered, people felt her presence. They couldn't help but glance at her, admire her beauty but were intimidated by her presence.

There were only a few who had met her and the rest were finding a chance to meet her.

Young women were envious of her beauty and poise while young men wanted to strike a conversation with her.

While there was excitement, joy, jealousy and all kinds of emotions running through people only a few of them had ghastly expressions and those were the members of Jones family. Everyone had shocked expressions, 'its her!'

Edmund Jones was shocked as well, but he said in a low voice, "Stay calm". While everyone was trying to take it in, Sophia was uneasy looking at her, but the most shocked one was Adam.

Lily saw the Jones family but pretended as if she hasn't. She was surrounded by people. Even though many wanted to meet her, she didn't forget to greet those who were senior to her in business. She knew how to give respect and that's why she earned it too.

While talking to some people she suddenly realised that someone was looking at her and she saw a pair of beautiful blue eyes, but as soon as she saw past those, she saw someone she has least expected to be. She excused herself and took her mother along with her towards Elder Green.

As soon as Alexander Green saw her, he smiled and said, "Oh I thought my disciple and my little fairy has forgotten me"

"Grandfather", lily greeted him and gave him a light hug.

People were shocked beyond limit,

'Lily Jones knew Elder green and their relation seemed much closer than just business'.

Both Elder Green and Lily knew what people thought, but none of them cared.

"How can I forget my Mentor and my lovely Grandfather. I never expected you to be here."

"Grandfather, you have already met my mother", she said turning towards her mother.

"Elder Green" Flora greeted him and shook his hand.

"Flora, I know this daughter of yours is a workaholic but at least you could meet us" Elder Green expressed his displeasure.

Both, mother daughter pair chuckled and flora said, "I'm sorry Elder Green, I'll make sure to meet you and Aunt soon".

While they were busy conversing, a certain someone was quite confused, 'how his grandfather knew her?'
