14 Brian Green
Due to the status and power of Green family, everyone wanted to be acquainted with them, as they were one of the leading industries in Country A, and were still expanding.
People were in need of just an excuse to have a word with either one of the grandfather grandson duo.
Women present there were going crazy with the presence of many eligible bachelors, but one caught everyone's eye, that was, Brian Green. It was so hard to see this man. He neither appears on the magazines, nor gives any interviews, even though he was the President of Green Industries.
This beautifully carved handsome face was hard to see, as it was always hidden behind the surgical mask. He was the first doctor in Green family. He was a child prodigy and always wanted to become a doctor. His family was always supportive for him and they were happy as now someone could closely take a look at their hospitals.
He had a very jolly and happy personality, Infact men of the Green family were like that, but to the world they appeared cold and aloof. Well, it wasn't necessary to show all your traits to the world right!
All the girls present there wanted to strike a conversation with him, while their mothers wanted to bag him as their son in law, but he seemed to be uninterested in every girl present there. Instead of giving any face to the glances he was getting, he was busy reading a paper on 'Effect of the social environment on cardiovascular diseases' on his phone.
People thought that he hated girls, as he was never entangled with anyone, no news about his dating life, not even a gossip, and those who started a fake gossip about him met with a lawsuit, hence nobody ever dared to post a fake gossip about him.
There is still some time left for the function to start and he was already getting impatient. He didn't like to come to such functions but he only came due to his grandfather.
He went near Elder Green and said, "Grandfather, what did I do wrong? Why did you want to torture me with this?"
Elder Green understood what he was implying and he gave him a sly smile without uttering a single word.
Brian said again, "Can I go and sit in the room or even in the lounge area, I really want some peace".
Elder Green looked at him and said, "No you can't leave here, wait a bit. I want you to meet someone".
"Don't worry, I'm not setting you up with someone, but this person had piqued my interest quite a few years ago, and today I want you to meet her".
After listening to his grandfather, he was quite amused. There aren't many people who could pique his grandfather's interest. So now, even he was looking forward to meet this person.
His train of thought was interrupted by a voice, "Alexander Green, it's been a long time", said Edmund Jones.
"Hello Mr. Jones. Indeed, it been a long time" said Alexander Green (Elder Green).
" Well, I wasn't expecting to see you here. It's quite a surprise", said Edmund Jones.
Alexander Green smiled and said, " Well yes, it is. But sometimes it's important to give work to these old rusty bones".
Both of them chuckled on this statement of Elder Green.
Jones and Greens were neither friends nor foes. Infact Jones were not even close to the status and power of Greens but Elder Jones had been in business for quite a long time so they were more like business colleagues.
