As soon as she said those words the entire hall erupted with the thunderous sounds of claps. People were touched by her words as they seemed sincere, it wasn't a pre planned speech, they were just raw thoughts of her.

Lily came down the stage and hugged her mother and handed her the award. Flora had tears in her eyes, she was trying so hard to control her emotions, even lily was trying as hard as her, but she couldn't show her weakness infront of all those people.

So she whispered, "Don't cry mom, you deserve it! And yes don't smudge your makeup with tears, I wanna see my beautiful mother"

This made Flora smile and she hugged her daughter one more time and then sat down.

The function went on for quite some time but a certain someone was still looking in a particular direction. Looking at his grandson, Elder Green smiled and said, "Someone piqued your interest, I see!"

Brian jolted, "What are you saying Grandfather ?"

Alexander didn't reply but just smiled.
