My soul returned to my body as I watched the police officers exchange words with doctor Kenneth. Whatever they discussed doesn't interest me. I waited patiently for the doctor to be done with them.

"Also, we are sorry for mistaking you for someone else. Our bad." The senior officer said.

I forced a smile and waved my head a bit. "Not a problem."

They left. Leaving us alone in the ward with the injured little girl I can't see her face.

"You look tensed." Doctor Kenneth swung around to me. He always looked young which made me wondered when he became his doctoring work. Looking healthy and fit, well he's a doctor. "Are you alright?"

His brooding gaze lingered on me. Throwing me an assiduous stare and for a minute I couldn't bring myself to tell him. What if he sees me as a psychopath? I gulped down and retained that forced smile on my face.
