2 Chapter 2: New Beginning

"ARGHHH!"

Ryujin was assaulted by an excruciating headache, forcefully awakening him. Sitting up, he gently rubbed his temple, trying to quell the pain.

After a few minutes the headache finally disappeared, allowing Ryujin to think more clearly.

As his mind became increasingly clear, the last thing Ryujin remembered was that he clicked on the [Begin] option and immediately lost consciousness after that.

Looking around the room he was in, Ryujin realised that he was no longer in his apartment. Before jumping to conclusions, he picked up the unfamiliar smartphone he saw on the bedside table and switched it to selfie-mode.

"Hmm... not bad. I look way better than the protagonist of this world at least."

Indeed, in terms of appearance, Ryujin could be considered to be among the best in the world.

With a sharp jawline and cold look, thick sword like eyebrows, beautiful crimson coloured pupils, short raven black hair, a height of 193cm, and a broad and muscular body packed with power, Ryujin could definitely hold the title of an adonis.

"It also seems that I've really reincarnated into Overgeared. I wonder where my system is."

Suddenly, a light blue holographic screen appeared in front of Ryujin, and a bunch of messages started to appear on it.

Reading the messages shown on the holographic screen, Ryujin immediately perked up. Any remaining sleepiness that might still be in him was blown away immediately.

Unable to contain his excitement anymore, Ryujiin immediately commanded for the system to activate.

Right after thinking those words, new messages appeared in front of Ryujin.

After a few minutes, he began to understand his situation.

Apparently, he had been reincarnated into the body of an 18 year old and was adopted by a family of three. His step-mother, step-aunt and step-sister. They were a middle income family living in Tokyo and he was very close to all three of them. His step-mother divorced her abusive husband after adopting him and they have been living peacefully ever since.

Ryujin wasn't in a hurry to do anything so he clicked on the [Check Interpersonal Relationships] at the bottom of the screen.

The screen changed and a photo of a person appeared.

It looked exactly like his step-mother.

Closing the tab, he clicked on the photo of his Step-Aunt.

Finally clicking on the last photo on the Status Screen, another description popped up.

"I like them all too... The only problem now is whether they're willing to accept a harem or not. I'll feel guilty if I choose one over the other since all of them are precious to me."

Ryujin lamented in his head.

Then, he calmed down.

Clicking on the [interpersonal relationship] tab, a small description was shown beside it.

Closing the tab, Ryujin got off the soft bed and stretched his body. Glancing at the calendar on the study table, Ryujin realised that Satisfy had already been released for close to 2 years already.

'How is it possible that this guy doesn't even own a VR Headset. Does he not play games?'

Ryujin cursed in his mind. He thought that he would be reincarnated a few days before the release of Satisfy similar to every reincarnation novel he read where the MC always reincarnates a few days before the cannon starts. But instead, he was reincarnated 2 years late.

Before he reincarnated, he had wanted to steal [Pagma's Rare Book] from Grid but by now, Grid should have already became Pagma's Successor and he could only look for another alternative.

Ryujin didn't want to be someone else's slave in his new life, and to do that, [Pagma's Rare Book] was essential. With that, it basically guaranteed that Ryujin would be one of the best players in the game even without the advantages from his Evolved Human Race.

Sighing, Ryujin still decided to purchase a VR Headset to the play the game. It wasn't like Pagma's Successor was the only Legendary Class. Who knows, if Ryujin is lucky enough, he could find another Legendary Class of his own.

Just as he was thinking about other alternatives, a clear melodious voice broke his thoughts.

"Ryujin, come have dinner. We're all waiting for you."

Quickly clearing his thought, Ryujin put on his best smile. He didn't want to worry the only family he had in both lives.

"Coming Mom!"

Ryujin stood up and hurriedly left the room.
