Chapter 1

Once upon a time in a far away land situated in the south side of Nigeria there was a village called udu which was known for their menial jobs.

The men go to the bush to weed their farms and some also bring out palm wine from the palm nut trees.

The women also assist some of their husbands by going to the river to catch fish and while some were market women.

It was a very busy village which everyone loves they carry each other's pain and sorrow together.
