11 Chapter 10
After the preposterous dinner, they decided to discuss about the kingdom affairs. In the beginning Heng's plan was to keep quiet as she is not sure if she is allowed to join the discussion, but then Heng is being Heng, she keeps by the end voicing out her opinion for most of arguments. By the end, Heng is totally engrossed with the discussion and the three men are also openly hearing her opinion.
"Education should be available to everyone. By that, you will be able to nurture the future people of the kingdom since early age. Not only that, you might find gem that is hidden now due to lack of resources in the other side. Commoner will also feel the ruler care about them if they know about this so this is a win win situation."
"I do not want to push you the idea of how the place where I live is but there are some areas which I do think is good for you to consider. By the end the main the goal is to let the Kingdom becoming more prosperous and every single citizens could live a life with happy smile right?"
"There are so many games I can introduce to children here. Most of the game is pretty simple to play and it is good for their brains to play with it. I will list them and written the instructions step by step if you are interested."
The Emperor and Li Wei tacitly agree and request Heng to write her proposal so they can read through it. Heng nods satisfactorily hearing their request, she thought why should she hides her knowledge if she can help. Fortunately these people did not slightest her a bit so she also feels happy to share.
She sighed secretly, she really does not know when she will be able to go back ah. It is a lie if she said she does not miss her world but she has been keeping it on the back of her head as she does not want to get depressed. Unfortunately, this discussion really made her gloomy ah.
A-Huo noticing her mood drops finally came out from her sleeves. All this time, this little monkey has been hiding himself in Heng's sleeves and enjoying the food with the help of Heng ah. Actually it is Heng's idea to hide A-Huo as she is now in the imperial palace, she is not sure if bringing him will be an insult to the Emperor. But now after interacting with this family, she is sure they will not mind her companion to pop out now.
Exactly as she said, the moment they saw the small monkey the one who has the most reaction are Feng Jiu and the Empress. Feng Jiu always spoiled A-Huo so she directly call A-Huo to sit in her laps which of course being complied directly by the spoiled brat. By the end, the spotlight directly switched to A-Huo. Heng's mouth twitched seeing A-Huo pampered face. Can't believe how easily he forgotten his friend ah! Thankfully, his action manage to stop her thoughts so she will forgive him this time.
"So Heng, what is your plan now?" Asked the Emperor. After observing her, he is sure this type of woman cannot be strained and will freely choose her own lives.
"I don't know" Heng helplessly shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know how long would it take before my grandpa appears. There is still a big chance he will not be able to come as well." She becomes gloomy again thinking about this. "I will just handle this step by step."
After pondering a bit she then added, "You know my real identity and I do not like to be a useless person staying here for free. If you need my help, let me know. I will do my utmost to help." Even though she knows they will not demand her to do anything but she feels like a lazy bum, she dislikes this so badly ah.
Li Jun hearing this swiftly give a look to his father. When he saw his father nod back to him, he then said to Heng, "I have mentioned this before but you can join me to military barracks."
Receiving the invitation, of course Heng will not refused. She is also curious how the barracks look like and she wants to see the strength of people in here. Thinking about strength, she move her gaze to Li Jun. She had the feeling that this guy is actually much stronger than she is. An idea directly pop out in her head.
Li Jun seeing her sparkly eyes and sly grin directly give him a bad feeling. This got confirmed not long afterwards when she ask, "Hey hey, do you want to have a friendly match with me?" Her excitement make her ignore any manner required to talk to a child of emperor.
But then again, Li Jun does not really care about it. He gave her a lopsided grin, "What is the bet?"
"Loser need to follow the winner demand." Said Heng confidently. She is sure this guy is not a black belly type so even if she lost, she should not lost too much. Though, she never planned to be the loser to begin with.
Unfortunately, Heng's thought is a bit... too naive sometimes. Currently in Li Jun's head is busy with possible plans he wants to do with her making his smile to be too evil. His parents who saw this inwardly grimacing Heng's fate. They forgot to tell about the real character of their son ah! Their only wish now is to make sure the demand he ask will not be too much to handle for Heng. Meanwhile, Li Wei and Feng Jiu have a smug smile in their face, for them this means a good show will come out soon ah!
"Loser need to follow eh? Aren't you afraid I will demand something weird for you to follow?" Ask him while scrutinized the lady in front of him carefully. Seeing her confident gaze, he really wants to mess with her a bit. He smirked before standing up and said to Heng, "Let's do this then."
