5 Fussing parents 2

My dad made his way up as soon as he had the call from his beloved wife. These guys, they have been married for 17 years but still behave like newly weds. It was really annoying.

My mom and dad met when my dad had just moved into the town and opened the church. My mom was his first disciple in all ways. She grew up here in Pani town so she had the ear and hearts of the people.

They got married within a month after meeting each other and when asked why they didn't first court and get to know each other better they always responded that their marriage was their courting ground.

Sometimes I feel like most people have high expectations out of me because my parents are too perfect. I mean why can't I be like Sean the trouble maker who every one just seems to accept the way he is.

Beep Beep

After a while the thermometer under my arm beeped and it turned out my temperature was only slightly high above normal. This did not seem to make my mother any calmer. She turned to my dad with barely constrained tears in her eyes, "James I don't know what is wrong with our boy" she cried. He's been in his room since he came back.

Now you have to understand where her concern was coming from. I was the type to always busy myself with something. When I got home my absolute favorite thing to do was play the Piano in the living room. I always actively participated in her home fellowships as her instrumentalist, or waiter, or singer, what ever she needed me to be.

But today was not normal because for starters I had gotten home late which was a shift from my normal punctual self and had barely said a word then gone to my room to deal with my problem at hand.

"I wouldn't worry much my dear I think our Brad is just growing up. He's only 16 after all. Changes are normal in a growing body. Isn't thats so Brad?"

"I'm okay mom no need to worry. I am just tired and have a test tomorrow that has got me on edge" I said so as to get my mom to calm down.

With a little more persuasion from my dad, mom was able to calm down and let the matter go by making me promise to tell her if something was wrong. I smiled like the usual obedient son and said I would while I was screaming in my head "No way in Hell!!!"

As soon as the left the room I was shocked to discover that my soldier was finally at peace. The guy lasted 7 hours but I guess no one could stand against my mom. I was so relieved as slowly drifted off in slumber.
