19 Chapter 19 - Training and Changes

After Alucard left Seras in their room, she is still petting Basky while in deep thought.

'I have been very stupid in my actions tonight, I really should have let him live.'

She deposits Steadler's body back in her storage and continues to think.

'What's going to happen to me now? I need a plan.' She stops thinking as her master returns.

"I'm sorry master." She walks toward him while exclaiming.

"It's Fine Police Girl. Integra is not going to be punishing you this time. This is your last chance though, another outburst and she is most likely going to either seal you or make me kill you." He glares at her before slowly saying.

"I know Master, it definitely won't happen again unless I'm allowed." She says sadly.

"Whatever. I've also been ordered to train you to use my transportation ability."

"You mean that dark Portal thing? I can learn that now!?" She asks with clear excitement.

"As long as you drink blood regularly, yes. I'm not a nice teacher though, I hope you're prepared." He affirms.

"I totally am! I can't wait, no more getting laughed at for being last to meetings, no more having to walk anywhere. It will be so awesome." She talks rapidly to no one.

"It's not going to be a cakewalk Police Girl. This is your punishment."

"That's ok, I'm all prepared. Do your worst Master."

"Hehehe.....hahahaahahahahah. You asked for this, don't hate me afterwards." He laughs hysterically before grabbing her skull and transporting them somewhere.

A few seconds later she can see that she is somewhere like her masters room except there is nothing. No light, no furniture, there isn't even a door.

'Don't tell me.....'

"Yes. You'll be trapped here until you can leave. Plus I'm leaving some of my familiars that will make this go faster." He says as more shadows pop out from behind him.

4 different figures are summoned like Basky and all of them look different. There is a giant snake with horns coming out of its head. A bull standing on its hind legs with a gigantic hammer. A gigantic spider that looks like the one form Harry Potter. And finally a thing that looks to be a horde of insects forming a single organism.

Alucard turns to them and says.

"I want you to hurt her over and over without directly killing her. Do this until she can learn to escape. Understood?"

""""Understood Master Tepes."""" They all bow and say in unison.

He turns to Seras and hands her a couple blood packs for sustenance. She takes them and puts them in her storage which surprises the demons.

"This won't be fun Police Girl, I hope you can escape as soon as possible before you break." Alucard speaks before disappearing.

"Well, this is going to be different." Seras says just as her master disappears in darkness.

A few seconds after Alucard disappears the snake lunges at her and bites her left forearm off.

"Fuck me, so we're doing this immediately!?" Seras groans in pain before yelling.

"Yessssss. I don't know what you did that made Massssster Tepessss Angry. But we're going to abide by his orderssssss whatever they may be." The snake answers with a typical hiss in its sentence.

"I know you're a snake and all, but since you're also a demon. Why do you have that annoying lisp? I mean come on." Seras says while her arms is still losing blood.

'Fuck me, this isn't going to be easy at all.'

"Hahahaha" A very loud laughter interrupts the snakes rebuttal and they both turn to the Bull.

"She got you there, I mean I don't say moo every time I speak."

"Now that's what I'm talking about, my name is Seras." She agreed immediately at the bulls statement.

"I'll tell you my name at the end of this, if you're still sane that is."

As Seras is training with those demons, Alucard is back in his room drinking wine. He does this for a few minutes before a knock sounds out.

"Come in Walter."

"How do you know it's me every time Alucard?"

"Who else would come down here?"

"Sir Integra would."

"She hasn't in years...."Alucard says slowly while reminiscing.

"Where is Seras? I thought you were supposed to be training her." Walter asks after a few seconds.

"Hmm? She is. I left her in my old room." He

chuckles darkly as Walters face pales.

"You don't mean...."

"Yep, plus I left a few of my demons to keep her company until she escapes."

"How could you! She is a child!" Walter accuses.

"Yes! She is a child. My Child who made a mistake and now she is getting punished."

"You didn't have to go this far Alucard! She is only a teenager."

"You don't think I know that Walter? You think I want this? No, Integra and the Police Girl asked for this."

"Seras did?"

"She asked me to do my worst and here it is. At least, my worst that doesn't include me." He smiles.

"Will she be ok?"

"I'm sure Walter, she is not as weak as you think." Alucard says this as Walter leaves to inform Integra.

A couple days go by and Alucard is getting worried about Seras. He hasn't tried checking in on her situation the last two days and decides to see how she is. He teleports to the room and gets very surprised at what he sees.

"You surprise me Seras." He says as he walks toward her in the dark room.

He passes by the corpses of his demons and notices that all of them have died probably a day ago. The snakes head was ripped off, the spider's legs are stabbed into it all over its body. The insects are all smashed all over the room and the bull is lying in the corner with its hammer where the head should be.

He walks to Seras and notices the wounds on her as she lay there on the brink of death. Her left arm is missing all the way from the shoulder, her right calf is missing and her left leg is completely gone. One of her eyes is gouged out as her stomach is spilled open in front of her. her right arm is relatively fine as there is but gouges missing here and there.

Alucard grimaces at the image and teleports them both to his throne room and gets Walter to bring blood.

He calls Sir Integra through their bond and informs her of the situation.

Alucard waits for them to show up and tries to read his fledgling's memories to find out what happened. He dives deep in and notices that he can't see anything. He is worried as this means she is dying quickly.

Just when he goes to teleport away before he notices something in her chest pocket. It's one of the blood packs he had given her at the beginning. He growls at her stupidity before ripping it open and pouring it into her mouth.

He notices that she isn't swallowing and starts to get more worried. He stops feeding her and pours the blood into his mouth before giving it to her by mouth-to-mouth. He starts to gently massage her neck so it can go down easier.

As Alucard is doing this, Integra is yelling for Walter to follow her faster so that they can get to Seras.

"I can't believe I left him in charge. I should have known better." Integra admonishes herself as they reach the mirror.

"Then again sir, you were very angry about Steadler. What changed?"

"It turns out that sorry excuse of a man was sexually harassing and raping all of the women in his past units while blackmailing them. They all committed suicide shortly after he transferred in." She spits in disgust at his actions.

"I see." Walter says as they open the door to Alucard's room.

They get in just in time to see Alucard stop giving Seras the blood. Integra is shocked still and Walter is too worried to care. He walks in and gives Alucard another blood pack.

"Will these be enough for Seras, Alucard?" He gestures to the tray which has another three blood packs.

"That should be enough Walter, she is in a very bad state." He says with a grim face and opens the pack given to him.

Just as he does, Seras' eyes shoot open and see the pack in her masters hand. She lunges forward and bites into it before swallowing the substance inside.

She takes but a few seconds to drain it clean and whimpers for more.

Alucard chuckles at this and grabs another pack. he starts to rub her back while she is drinking the rest of the blood. This happens another two times before her wounds are all fixed. Her limbs are back to normal. She opens her eyes with more clarity and sees Alucard.

"Mas....ter....how did....I do?" She asks slowly before smiling and falling to sleep.

This takes a while to describe but from when Integra and Walter walked in to Seras' full recovery. It took less than two minutes and Integra is still shocked at she saw. She regains her calmness soon after Seras' question.

"What happened to her Alucard?"

"I've only carried out your orders, my master." He answers without his usual smile.

"This.....was your punishment?"

"Why else would I hurt her? Your orders are more powerful than you think. Whatever you say, I will do. Even if you regret it after, it will still be carried out." He explains while carrying Seras to the bed and covering her body.

"You're blaming me for this?"

"Not at all. A servant can't blame their master after all." He says sarcastically.

As he says this, Integra notices that Alucard hasn't looked at her once since she came.

'Is he angry?'

[Is it that obvious?]

[Why do you are about her so much? You've only known her for a month.]

[Despite that, she has been with me that whole time.]

She can here the non verbal accusation now.

'I haven't spent any time with him despite the years I have known him. I've probably spent the least amount of time with him than a lot of others.' She realizes that she hasn't just talked with him in a long time and sighs sadly.

"Do you blame me, Alucard?"

"No, it's just how humans are. Abraham and Arthur were the same. You only care for your family pride and nothing else. I have long since been used to it."

He pauses before continuing.

"The Police Girl is a fresh breeze in my 150 years since being enslaved."

Integra starts at the word.

'Enslaved.....' She thinks before leaving without saying anything else.

Walter bows to Alucard before leaving behind Integra.

When they leave, Alucard kneels by the bed and starts to caress seras' head.

'You've truly surpassed my expectations seras. I have never heard of a fledgling being able to kill 4 demons like that. Especially one who has not fed like you.' He smiles a warm smile that he hasn't shown in centuries.

'I can't wait to see what you have learned when you wake up.' He continues to gently stroke her hair into the morning.

The next night seras' eyes shoot open and she is hurt at the amount of things she is sensing.

'What is this? Wait....am I in bed?' She questions to herself before turning to her side and seeing her master holding her hand while he sleeps.

Before she can say anything Alucard wakes up and sees that his fledgling is awake.

"You're awake. How do you feel, seras?" He asks gently.

"I feel.....different. Stronger? No, just different." She says to him while looking at her arms.

"That's because you finally drank some blood Police Girl. We went through 5 blood packs to get you all healed up."

"Is that it? Oh yeah! I finally learned how to use that teleport thingy. It wasn't that hard, it only took me like 3 hours."

"3 hours? Then why didn't you escape!?" He gets surprised before asking angrily.

"Those familiars of yours really infuriated me. I was planning on ignoring them, but they just kept going on and on. I have never been like this before."

"Haha, that's your innate vampire. You've only been a vampire for a month. So you're technically a child throwing a tantrum." He laughs at her before explaining.

"So whenever somebody makes fun of me I'll want to kill them? Well, that's not good."

"Yes."

"Does drinking blood allow me to have better senses?"

"Not just that, you also have your strength returned to its peak. To you, it's in increase."

"How does a vampire's strength compare to a human's?"

"Hmm, that's difficult to explain. Well the more blood your drink, the stronger you are."

"I was going for more of a number. Like how many kilograms can you carry?"

"Me specifically? I haven't tested."

"Why not? That's kind of important."

"Why?" He asks.

"Well....um.....uh....that's true. I don't know." She tries to think of a reason.

"Well, when you do. Come find me and we'll find out together." He pats her head before disappearing in his portal.

'Well. Now I can read that letter RE has sent me.' Seras thinks as she takes out a very fancy envelope from her storage.

The envelope is pure white with a gold pattern surrounding the edges. The seal on the back is pure black in the shape of an alcoholic beverage.

'How quaint. It is just like her to send this.'

She opens the letter and begins to read.

-Hiya Seras. If you're reading this that means that you have learned the dark portal ability from Alucard. Knowing you, it probably took a month. Anywho, this letter is to inform you of how your personal teleport ability works. First it's just like your Omniscient Simulator in that a screen will prompt you for information. There is a search box for what universe you want to goto. A scroll down box for anywhere in your current universe. For instance, if you want to goto France in the Hellsing Universe. You have to use the scroll down box for France. There is also a few scroll down boxes for the time you want to arrive. They are month day and year. Finally there is also an area to the right that gives you a timeline of events with their names, description, location, and time they happened. I have put a lot of thought into this interface and I hope you enjoy It.
