12 Chapter 12

It's been two weeks since the incident happened. The Stone Family keeps on visiting her with the Santiago Family. Every time they visit, they feel warmth because of Melissa's liveliness. It influence them so greatly that they didn't the passing of time.

However, Louisa is not having a good time because of Melissa's existence. She hates her very much! She felt that the Stone Family should only put their attention on her while her face and behaviors haven't show it.

Then, Melissa gazed around as she felt grateful because of these people in front of her. Although she experienced something she shouldn't, as a child, but the Stone Family gives her a true feeling of having a family.

"Melissa? Is something wrong?" Eleanor asked and caressed Melissa's hair.

"Thank ...you..for the warmth, everyone" as she looked down while holding back her tears and her shoulders trembled.

Except Louisa who is currently glaring daggers on Melissa without getting anyone's attention, everyone is smiling because of Melissa's heart-warming gratefulness.

Old Master Stone patted on her little shoulder gently as he let his granddaughter cried softly.

"Do you know why?" Old Master Stone asked. Melissa shook her head as she looked up to Old Master Stone while waiting to hear the reason of their warmth.

"It's because you're my granddaughter. Erson is my third son. His real name is Erson Stone. Although he already died because of your mother's affair, I promise to protect you no matter what happened" said the Old Master Stone.

Melissa was stunned to hear that her father is one of the Stone Family. She heard about the Stone Family before. Although she lived in the countryside, her father Erson told her about the wealthy families in the city before his death. She just have a general idea of the wealthy family.

Erson had no idea that Melissa has early wisdom or the ability to retain memories since the day she reached one year old.

He just casually shared his knowledge about the wealthy family to Melissa. There are even secrets they hide so deeply but Erson still found out about it. By this, it means Erson is not an ordinary man at all!

Now, she knows that her father is the third son of Old Master Stone but it doesn't mean she can truly trust them. Although she sought after family affection, Rosalina's actions before made her traumatized.

However, she doesn't show her thoughts through her face or actions but smiles. Well, at least, they accept her as one of the Stone Family, right?

"I'm sorry for being too late, Melissa" Dane blames himself for not finding out about Erson early. Otherwise, the Stone Family could still see Erson Stone.

Melissa shook her head and smiles at them.

"Even if Papa didn't mention about the Stone y, I am certain that he didn't blame anyone in Stone Family. I'm sure of it!" she giggles as she smiles at cutely.

Old Master Stone laughs loudly. The others laughter followed.

Except Louisa who is now feeling uncomfortable and have a feeling of crisis. She feels that Melissa will definitely replaced her from the Stone Family's hearts! She will not allow it!

Louisa sneakily went outside of Melissa's room and sat outside the seat infront of Rosalina's room. Her head looked left and right as she's waiting for Gabriel.

She started to organize her thoughts and recalled the events in her past life. Yes, Louisa returned in the past from the future.

She was killed by a psychic assassin. She thought she died miserably but God gave her a chance to go back.

She slowly recalled the events. She slowly changed the past. Her meticulous planning as a baby changed the course of events of her life but she doesn't expect that Melissa will still come back to Stone Family.

She was the real daughter of Rosalina Montecillio and Gerson Stone. Because of Rosalina's greed of money, she sold her to the evil organization and trained her as an assassin but she's the last lowest assassin among all.

As an assassin, she travelled around the world and killed many people with her own hands. Although she's the lowest assassin, she becomes the cannon fodder of Melissa.

Melissa was raised a precious phoenix in Stone Family and inherited the most inheritance of Old Master Stone.

When she found out that she's also a Stone. Louisa decided to visit the Stone Family. She saw how the Stone Family treated Melissa so dearly and hatred started sprouting inside her.

She did everything to kill the Stone Family one by one until a mysterious man appeared and killed her.

So, when she went back in the past. She believed she must change the wheel of fortune of her life.

When she saw the pendant of blue pigeon on Melissa's neck when they were still a newborn baby, she remembered that the blue pigeon pendant is a protection energy against misfortune.

So, she grasped it to take it as hers but it fell down.

When the nurse was about to give it back to Melissa, an idea hit her. She caught the attention of the nurse and made the nurse tie it to her neck. Her plan succeeded and became the daughter of Eleanor and Erwin.

She wanted to kill Melissa immediately but she knows she cannot do anything about it because she's still a child.

However, fate is really making fun of her. She let Melissa appeared in front of the Stone Family and even let them find out about Erson as Melissa's father. It means, Melissa was not sold by Rosalina to the evil organization like her. She must find a way to let the evil organization take Melissa away from the Stone Family.

"Are you saying that Melissa is not our biological daughter but Louisa? How come?" Louisa stopped walking when she heard such words and was stunned to find out something she couldn't accept! She remained standing there as she wanted to find out more about it.

"Yes! She's not our biological daughter. That's the reason I must kill her but now, the Stone Family found her. Even if she's not found as the biological daughter of Erwin and Eleanor, she's still a threat to Louisa's life! You must find a way to kill her!" Rosalina sobbed as she told the man in front of her about Melissa and Louisa.

"Since she's not our biological daughter, I will definitely kill her" the man decisively agreed.

Although Louisa felt uncomfortable after hearing Rosalina and the man about her being their biological daughter, she was delighted to hear their plan to kill Melissa.

Her eyes glinted as she smirked.

"Indeed. The blue pigeon pendant is a protection against misfortune. Because you haven't wear it in this lifetime, continuous misfortunes awaits you, Melissa" she thought and left the hospital.

Meanwhile, Rosalina keeps tugging the man's sleeve as she revealed her thoughts and secrets to the man in front of her.

The man frowned and told Rosalina his plan to kill Melissa. Rosalina smiled and kissed the man passionately. A sounds of love-making is heard inside. Fortunately, the room is locked and it is good for one patient only.

After two hours of love-making, the man got up and wore his red robe with a hood (like Little Red Riding Hood) and kissed Rosaline on her forehead.

He left her room silently without being captured on the CCTV and his plan on killing Melissa started.
