At the school's rooftop,

Yumi is standing on the corner with her hand holding the rooftop fence while looking out of nowhere.

"Hey, you want to say something?" Mica was the one who opened up a conversation to Yumi.

"Huh?!" Yumi snapped back to her senses when Mica suddenly spoke.

Mica stood beside Yumi and looked ahead of her.

"You seem to be in deep thought," Mica commented, " You know you can share your burden to me," She added.

Yumi revealed a faint smile, "Which story would you like to hear first?"

"Is it about how I got slapped by my father when we got into an argument or is it about how I got rejected by the guy I like after a few hours of getting by my father?" Yumi asked bitterly.

Mica turned her gaze to Yumi, she looked at her doubtfully.

"Yeah, you heard it right," Yumi seems to understand her friend's look.

"I just got rejected by the guy I like right after I got slapped by, my father," She added as she smiled bitterly.

"How unfortunate of me, right?" She added.

Mica can see the pain and the loneliness in Yumi's eyes.

"Yumi, this is just a piece of advice from me, you know that as your friend, I also want the best for you," Mica said.

"Why won't you fix your relationship with your father first?"

"Why won't you try to see the efforts that he had done just to give you a comfortable life?"

"Mica, it is not as easy as what you think," Yumi replied.

"Every time I see my father and Alicia, it always reminds me of how they betrayed my mother," She said.

"They always remind me of the pain of losing my mother," She added as tears started to fill her eyes.

Mica took a deep breath, she slowly walks closer to her friend and embraces her.

"Too much hatred in your heart will only make you feel miserable inside."

"It's been three years Yumi, no matter how people have wronged you, you should still give them a chance. Everybody deserves to be forgiven." Mica said as she stroke Yumi's back.

"Sometimes, the only thing that could heal the pain is forgiveness," Mica added.

Yumi doesn't know why, but Mica's advice touches her heart and she couldn't help but cry!

Mica couldn't suppress her tears too.

She can feel Yumi's burden and she felt sorry for her.

The two of them were crying when Alodia and Adeline arrived.

"Hey..." Adeline and Alodia were confused, " What happened here?"

"Why are you two crying?" They asked.

Yumi and Mica separated when they heard the twin's voices.

"Ah, we just talk about something," Mica was the one who spoke as she wiped her tears.

"Why?"

"Is there something happened?" Alodia seems like crying.

"Hey!" Adeline rebuked Alodia with her faint voice, "Why are you crying now?" She asked, also in a crying expression.

Yumi couldn't help but smile, "Hey, why are you already crying?" She asked.

"Because you both are crying!" The twins replied.

"Hey, how come you both are such a crybaby?" Yumi commented while wiping her tears.

She then spreads her arms and said, " Come, let's have a group hug!"

Alodia and Adeline walk closer to Yumi and Mica.

"I'm so thankful that I have friends like the three of you," Yumi said as the four of them hugs each other.

Mica freed her self from her friend's embrace and spoke, "Anyways Yumi, who's the guy who rejected you?"

Yumi froze as well as the twins.

"W-What?!" They blurted out with their eyes wide opened!

"Someone rejected our Yumi?!" They asked in an unbelievable expression.

"Unfortunately, yes," Yumi replied.

"Ugh, so this is the reason why you're crying?" Alodia asked.

"Nah, it's a long story," Mica was the one to answer.

"Uh, I wonder who's the guy who captures the heart of our rude, princess?" Adeline said.

"Just don't laugh at me if I tell you who he is," Yumi replied.

The three girls looked at each other, "Of course!" They said together.

"It's... Jin,"

The three girls' were stunned as soon as they heard Yumi!

"J-Jin, the gardener?!" Mica asked.

"Yes," Yumi replied.

"I thought you hate him?" It's Alodia who ask this time.

"Hey, have you not heard the saying, 'The more you hate, the more you love?" Mica said.

Yumi let out a deep sigh, "I guess it was true," she said.

"Hey, Yumi, are you just going to let it happen just like that?" Adeline joined the conversation.

Yumi, Alodia, and Mica turned their heads to Adeline, they looked at her with their knitted brows.

"What do you mean?" Yumi asked as she looked at Adeline.

"Not because he rejected you, it doesn't mean that the fight is over!" Adeline replied.

Yumi's knitted brows got even deeper.

"Alright," Adeline straightened her body and she got ready to give an explanation.

"What I am saying is... You should not stop just because he rejected you!" She said.

"You should work harder to win his heart!" She added.

"But his decision is fixed, he said he can't like me because it will only make things complicated between us," Yumi replied.

"Nah!"

"He said that?" Alodia asked.

Yumi nodded her head lightly.

"Hmmm... I think, he did not reject you because he doesn't like you, it seems like..." Alodia tried to think for the right word to say.

"He might like you, but something is stopping him," She said.

"Hmmm... I think I know what's stopping him," Mica spoke.

"What do you think?" Alodia and Adeline asked.

"Their life status," Mica replied.

"Come to think of it, Yumi is rich and Jin is not, what do you think would be the outcome if they get involved romantically?"

"People will start making gossips and what if Yumi's father finds out about it?"

Alodia and Adeline nodded their heads while Yumi just sighs deeply.

"Life is so unfair," Adeline mumbled.

"Yes, it is..." Alodia agreed.

"But still, Yumi," Alodia lifted her gaze to Yumi, "You shouldn't give up so easily!"

"Who knows?"

"One day he might change his mind and follow his heart..." Alodia pause for a second.

"That's if... Our theory was right," She added.

Yumi fell in deep thoughts.

'Yes!'

'What if, they are right?'

'What if, the only thing that is stopping him is our life status?'

'Don't be a coward Yumi, just do everything to make him change his mind!'

'Don't stop trying until you get tired!'
