72 Never again

"Miss Vancroft..." By now Quince had clenched and unclenched his fists at least 10 times.

"You know what? It still feels heavy! I should probably take my undergarments off too." Queen's voice came from behind, sounding thoughtful.

'Take ou....out more?! Under what?! Over my dead body!' Thinking that Quince immediately shouted,"No! It's not because of that!"

"Hmmmm...."the drunk girl behind hummed in reply,"Then what could it be? Do you know why?And why aren't you looking at me?" She sounded confused at the end of her sentence.

"It's your wig." Quince gritted his teeth before replying.

"Aha..."Queen nodded distractedly behind him, not that he could see her with his back facing her. "You did say that before...but it doesn't feel like it."

"It is! I promise you. Now if you would behave for one minute, I would go out to grab a towel for you. Then you can put on the bathrobe and I will help you take off the wig." Quince took a deep breath as he tried to coax her.

"Really....?" Queen sounded unsure. After all how could a simple wig be so heavy?

Thinking back on how she had to carry swords to fight war long ago, she concluded that those were definitely heavier! The armor was heavy too and it bounded her body tightly, so she linked the two in her mind and thought about taking off her clothes.

But the light breezy feeling she expected to get was nowhere to be found. On the contrary, she was feeling colder and heavier with each passing moment.

Quince waited for her answer with his heart beating wildly as if waiting to sign a billion dollar business contract.

Finally Queen decided to trust her cat and gave her consent.

"Alright then but..."

Quince didn't wait to listen to her as he immediately dashed out of the bathroom, grabbing the towel and bath robe before rushing right back.

He had his eyes half closed as he walked back towards her. He focused only on her face. 'I can't see anything else, no I can't see her long legs, no I can't see the full roun...I can't see a thing!'

Let's just say Quince had one of the most difficult 30 seconds of his life.

He reached her and wrapped the big towel around her body fully covering her. He then open his eyes and looked at her.

She looked really tired and ready to collapse at any moment. He held onto her shoulders and walked her slowly towards the bathroom door.

Just as they were standing by the door, Queen suddenly stopped walking.

"What's wrong?" Quince turned back to look at her as he was standing slightly in front.

"I want to take a bath." Queen voiced out droopily.

"You're too drunk to..." Quince started protesting but before he could say anything more, the lady behind him unexpectedly raised her leg and gave him a firm kick on his behind.

Surprised by the sudden attack, Quince was successfully kicked out by her. He was shocked by her action but turned as soon as he got a hold of himself. Though he immediately spun back, it was too late as all he could see was the bathroom door slamming shut in his face.

He immediately knocked the door continuously and called her. "Miss Vancroft! Miss Vancroft! Come out of the bathroom!"

"Shut up! So noisy!" A sound from inside the bathroom replied and in the next moment Quince heard the shower turning on once more.

Quince rubbed his face and groaned frustratedly. He glared at the door and thought angrily,'If she doesn't come out in 10 minutes, I'm going to destroy the damn door.'

He kept pacing back and forth in front of the door, counting the minutes in his mind. Just as he reached 5 minutes, he got a text from his driver informing him that he was now standing in front of the hotel room.

Quince cursed in his heart as he completely forgot about it. He walked briskly to the door before swinging it open.

"What is it Mr.Yu?" Quince asked.

"Here are your clothes Master Quince." The driver replied respectfully.

The truth was, Quince already anticipated that Mr.Antonio would ask him to stay the night. After all, in their previous dealings, he had always done so and Quince had always refused.

This time, due to the direct order given by the head of the group, he had no choice but to accept it. So he prepared his clothes in advance and asked the driver to bring it up to him at a specific time.

The thing he didn't anticipate was the drunk girl in the bathroom. He couldn't let the driver know that she was here or else if it were to get back to his family, even if he explained the situation, there would be a price to pay.

Not to mention the fact that she was in disguise right now and he couldn't risk exposing her to others. Not until he knew her motive.

So when the driver opened his mouth to ask about Wan Lin, Quince's newest Secretary, Quince only told his driver that she had already left.

Usually Quince didn't lie as he never felt the need to do so. He had enough power to say the truth and not pay the consequences for them. Or even if he had to, he was prepared for them.

The driver looked confused but he believed Quince and drove the car home.

Quince was now in front of the bathroom once more. He was getting impatient as each second pass and Queen wasn't out yet.

'Last 40 seconds.' Quince muttered to himself, ready to plow the door down.

Luckily, he didn't have to destroy the hotel's property as within the next moment, the bathroom door swung open.

Queen stood in front of Quince, wrapped in the oversized towel and wig still firmly attached to her head.

Her face wasn't as red as before but she still looked pretty tipsy. Unbeknownst to Quince, this is actually one of Queen's top weaknesses.

Queen is terrible at drinking alcohol and would get drunk easily. During the first 40 minutes, no matter how much she drinks, she would look fine. But after that she would look as red as a tomato, instantly transforming her from sober to drunk.

Quince wasn't sure about her level of soberness so he decided to test her.

"Who are you?" He asked.

"The Queen! Do you have a problem with me?!" She replied instantly.

'Uh-huh, she's acting like a delinquent now too.' Quince massaged his brows slightly at the thought.

"Do you know who I am?" Quince asked.

"Hell, if you don't know who are, how do you expect me to...." Queen only said that before she trailed off as she squinted her eyes and looked closer at him.

"Oh hey....aren't you that guy who makes ramen on tv?!" She then broke out into a wide smile and walked closer to him. "What are you doing here?"

'This is going to be a long night.' Quince sighed to himself and made a vow to never let her touch alcohol again!
