"So, you are saying that if I were to hand this over to Master QUINCE, there would be no problem with it whatsoever?" Wan Lin asked whilst emphasizing the cat's name.

"Of course not." Nancy faked her smile before answering back without batting an eye.

'Ooh how formidable.' Queen thought sarcastically in her heart.

"So...the date on this contract is just a mistake on your part?" Wan Lin enunciated each word slowly.

Nancy immediately froze when she heard that but she soon plastered her fake smile on before nodding in assurance.

Wan Lin narrowed her eyes at Nancy and her aura became colder.

In her haste, Nancy printed out the proposal from 2 months ago out. This proposal had already been cancelled due to some issues before and even though it wasn't widely known, Queen definitely heard of it.

While she was researching about the De Roi group, finding hints to pran...that is, finding hints to get to know her cat better, she stumbled upon this information.

It was stated clearly that the contract had been cancelled and a new one was being drafted out.

"Hand me the contact number for Atmos group." Wan Lin said simply. There was no expression on her face, not even the slight taunting smile in her eyes.

Nancy felt herself shiver at Wan Lin's expression. She didn't hesitate to give the contact number over to her as she was sure Wan Lin would be fired before contacting them.

Nancy was hoping for Wan Lin to pass the wrong information over to the boss. Everyone knew their boss was a perfectionist and would not tolerate mistakes over small issues.

If Wan Lin simply took the contract proposal over to the boss and presented it to him, she would no doubt be fired immediately.

However, she didn't do that. Wan Lin took the contact number from Nancy hand and dialed the number up. She put her phone on loudspeaker so everyone heard the phone on the other side ringing.

"What.." Nancy opened her mouth to ask, surprised at Wan Lin actions but shut her mouth immediately after the other person picked up the call.

"Henry, contracting agent in Atmos, speaking." He said.

"Hello Mr.Henry, this is Wan Lin, the De Roi group CEO's secretary. Miss Nancy from contracting department recently handed me the contract for the project..." Wan Lin said and started stating the terms in the contract on her hand.

Nancy wanted to move to grab the phone but with everyone in the department staring, she couldn't. She clenched her fingers tightly in suppressed anger.

"That is absolutely absurd! This is the old contract! Why would Miss Nancy hand that over to you? I clearly told her that it was unacceptable!" Henry yelled angrily and everyone could hear him over the phone.

Meanwhile, Nancy went beet red with embarrassment after hearing him.

Wan Lin didn't have a change in her expression at his tone and simply said, "Indeed Mr.Henry, please be assured that Miss Nancy will be removed from this assignment and it will be handed over to someone more competent. Good day."

Wan Lin then cut the call and pointed her finger to another person in the department.

"This project is now yours." She said simply. "Get me the contract in 10 minutes."

"Yes!" The man accepted her command immediately after he heard her. After a while he was quite surprised that he made a movement to obey her easily.

Wan Lin wasn't surprised since it was expected for people to listen to her commands due to the natural leader aura's that blazes out from her.

Wan Lin tossed the contract to the ground before turning around to walk out of the department.

"What! You bitch! You can't...!" Nancy yelled at Wan Lin's back and made a movement to follow after her.

"Miss Nancy." Wan Lin turned around to say,"Don't push me."

Nancy stopped moving immediately as soon as she saw that scary glint in Wan Lin's eyes. It was so like their boss that she couldn't move.

Wan Lin turned around and walked out of the department leaving gasps of breaths and murmurs of wonderment behind her.
