Her tears stained her shirt and her blanket. Finally deciding not to care about the dirtiness of the blanket, she grabbed it and wiped it over her face.

Maybe it was because of her crying episode, or maybe it was because of her having not slept during the past two days, but she slowly felt her eyes blurring… and soon, she was fast asleep.

She began to dream.

She was suddenly back in her childhood days when she was around six or seven years old. Small and thin with ragged clothing, she had just finished a day's work and had already hit the sack when she felt her blanket being pulled away.
