Hellish Roses for Blathe

The legend of Blathe is older than the village of Gisser. Dark forests cover the southern portion of the continent. Bards recounted the great battles that determined the boundaries between the sombests, shadow creatures, and the luzinn, light creatures. Humans mainly stayed out of such territorial disputes. One human decided to exploit their turf out of necessity. Famine threatened to starve her family. The riches from selling rare beast products could save the whole village. There was one problem. Blathe, the hellish beast rumored to reside at the border of the forest, was ordered to kill anyone stupid enough to cross him.
